Disney+ credentials are managed through MyDisney. To change either one, open DisneyPlus.com or the Disney+ mobile app, go to Profile → Account → Manage with MyDisney, and select the pencil icon beside your email address or password. Disney sends a six-digit code to the email currently on the account, so self-service changes require access to that inbox. Changing either credential also changes the MyDisney login used by other connected Disney services.
Change your Disney+ email address
- Open DisneyPlus.com or the Disney+ mobile app. On the website, select your profile in the upper-right; in the mobile app, select it in the lower-right.
- Select Account.
- Select Manage with MyDisney.
- Select the pencil icon beside your current email address.
- Find the message titled “Your one-time passcode for Disney+.” in the current account inbox.
- Enter the six-digit code and select Continue.
- Enter the new email address, then select Save & Continue.
This changes the email used to sign in to MyDisney; it is not merely a contact-address change. See Disney’s current email-change instructions for regional interface variations.
Change your Disney+ password while signed in
- Go to DisneyPlus.com or open the mobile app.
- Open Profile → Account → Manage with MyDisney.
- Select the pencil icon beside Password.
- Retrieve the six-digit one-time code sent to the account email.
- Enter the code and select Continue.
- Enter a new password and select Save & Continue.
Disney’s current requirements are at least six characters, including at least one number or special character. Passwords are case-sensitive. Use a unique password rather than one reused for your email or another service. Requirements can change, so follow the rule displayed on the password screen. Details are in Disney’s password help article.

Disney says delivery can take up to 15 minutes and that a code expires after 15 minutes. Check spam, junk, promotions, and quarantine folders, then use Resend if necessary. Avoid repeatedly entering a possibly incorrect email address.
If you cannot access the old email
The normal email-change process verifies you through the current account inbox. If you have lost access to that inbox, Disney says to contact support for a secure update rather than bypassing verification. Use the regional Disney+ Contact Us page; phone numbers and available channels vary by country. The US page lists 888-905-7888 and specifically directs email-address updates to phone support.
If you forgot which email was used, search old Disney+ billing and account messages, check the email associated with a third-party subscription confirmation, and then contact the billing partner or Disney+ support if you still cannot identify it. A partner may control billing or activation, but changing Apple, Google, Amazon, or another partner’s billing email does not substitute for changing the MyDisney login.

What changes after you update credentials?
Email and password changes apply to the shared MyDisney login. They can therefore affect connected Disney experiences such as Disney+, Disneyland, and Walt Disney World’s My Disney Experience, as well as other services that use the same MyDisney credentials. A password changed in another connected Disney experience can likewise affect Disney+.
Streaming devices may ask for the new password, a one-time code, or another verification. TV apps may not show the full account controls, so make the change on the website or mobile app and then sign in again on the TV. Disney sends notifications when login details change. Do not assume every device is automatically signed out; for suspected unauthorized use, follow Disney’s specific instruction to reset the password and log out of all devices.
If the account may be compromised
- Reset the MyDisney password immediately, even if you can still sign in.
- Choose a password unique to MyDisney.
- Use Disney’s log out of all devices option when unauthorized use is suspected.
- Review account activity or unfamiliar devices where the account interface provides those details.
- Secure the email account itself, change any reused passwords, and enable multifactor authentication with the email provider when available.
- Contact Disney+ support if someone changed the email or password without your permission.

| TV app lacks account settings | Use DisneyPlus.com or the mobile app, then sign in on the TV with the new credentials. |
| New email is already in use | Do not assume accounts can be merged; ask Disney+ support how to proceed. |
| Credentials fail on another Disney service | Remember that MyDisney credentials are shared; retry with the updated email and password or reset them through MyDisney. |
Interface labels can vary slightly by country, device, or account state. Disney’s official pages are the best authority if your screen differs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change the email without changing the password?
Yes. Email and password are separate controls under Manage with MyDisney. Each change still requires verification with a code sent to the current account email.
Can I change the email from a smart TV?
Use DisneyPlus.com or the mobile app instead. TV apps may not expose the complete MyDisney account controls.
Does changing the password guarantee that every device is signed out?
Disney does not state that every device is automatically signed out in all cases. If you suspect unauthorized use, reset the password and use Disney’s log-out-of-all-devices control.
