On a TV: Start an eligible NFL Sunday Ticket game in the YouTube TV app, press Down on your remote, then choose Multiview. On a phone or tablet: Start the game, tap the player, and choose Multiview. YouTube TV Multiview is not available in a web browser or through AirPlay.
Find Multiview on a TV or streaming device
- Open the YouTube TV app on your smart TV or streaming device.
- Search for NFL, or find a live game on the NFL page or in the Home or Live tab. YouTube TV’s NFL viewing guide describes these ways to find games.
- Open an eligible live Sunday Ticket game and start playback.
- Press Down on the remote to reveal the playback controls.
- Select Multiview, then choose from the available streams or combinations.
The quickest route is from inside a game—not by searching the menus for a standalone Multiview category. YouTube’s Multiview instructions describe opening the feature while watching eligible content.
Find it on Android, iPhone, or iPad
- Open the YouTube TV app and start an eligible Sunday Ticket game.
- Tap the video to display the player controls.
- Tap Multiview and select an available combination.
Use the app, not a mobile browser. YouTube TV lists Multiview for its Android and iOS apps, but not its web version; see its feature comparison by platform.
Why the option might be missing
- You checked too early: Sunday Ticket Multiview choices generally appear about 30 minutes before game time, not at a guaranteed exact cutoff. If the game is upcoming, you may see Notify me rather than playback. See YouTube’s Multiview timing and viewing guidance.
- You are watching in a browser: Switch to the YouTube TV app on a supported TV, streaming device, phone, or tablet. YouTube TV Multiview is not supported on the web.
- You are using AirPlay: Multiview cannot be watched through AirPlay. Casting support is separate and may be available for applicable content; check YouTube TV’s current device guidance.
- The account or subscription is wrong: If you see Get NFL Sunday Ticket, confirm you are signed in to the Google account that purchased it and that the membership is active. A YouTube TV base plan alone does not include the full out-of-market Sunday Ticket inventory.
- The game is not eligible for Sunday Ticket: Sunday Ticket is primarily for out-of-market Sunday afternoon regular-season games. Local and nationally televised games have separate availability rules; the YouTube TV base plan may carry local or national broadcasts.
- RedZone is missing: Multiviews that include NFL RedZone require both Sunday Ticket and the relevant RedZone subscription.
- Your device or app is limiting the feature: Update the YouTube TV app and try another supported device. YouTube warns that some older devices—particularly models mostly from before 2018—may have fewer customization options or lower picture quality. If location is being misidentified, check your current playback area.
- You are watching a recording: Start an eligible live stream; a DVR or on-demand recording may not offer the live Multiview controls.
YouTube TV recommends at least 7 Mbps download speed for live streaming generally. That is not a guarantee that four streams will perform well on every connection, so a stable connection matters.

What you can choose—and what you cannot
Multiview can show up to four live streams, though some layouts have only two or three depending on game schedules and availability. You can use the builder to choose from content YouTube makes available, but you cannot guarantee any arbitrary four-game combination. Choices depend on eligibility, subscription rights, timing, and the supported configurations. Sunday Ticket Multiview is for NFL content, not a mix of unrelated YouTube TV channels.
Sunday Ticket is not a way to bypass local broadcast restrictions: a game shown in your market is not an out-of-market Sunday Ticket game. Local and nationally televised games are handled separately. For subscription details, see YouTube’s Sunday Ticket purchase and viewing information.

Choose the audio or make one game full screen
On a TV: Use the remote’s directional pad to highlight the game you want to hear; the active view is marked with a white border and audio indicator. To expand it, highlight the game and press Select or OK. Press Back to return to Multiview.

On a phone or tablet: Tap the game view to switch audio. To expand a view, select it and double-tap the view with active audio; use the Back control to return to Multiview. Controls can vary somewhat by device. YouTube lists these controls in its Multiview guide.
