Coachella’s 2026 YouTube livestream began at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time—4:00 p.m. Pacific Time—on Friday, April 10, for Weekend 1. Weekend 2 began at the same time on Friday, April 17. Those times marked the start of the broadcast, not the scheduled start of every artist or headliner.
Both 2026 livestream weekends have now ended. The dates and times below apply specifically to the 2026 festival; YouTube’s announcements do not establish a 2027 start time.
What “7 p.m. ET” meant
The 7 p.m. Eastern start was the launch time for each Friday’s livestream day. It was not a universal start time for every performance, and it did not mean that a particular headliner would take the stage at 7 p.m.
Artists performed on separate stages at different times. YouTube’s Weekend 1 schedule was published in Pacific Daylight Time and listed multiple performances beginning at 4:00 p.m. PDT, with other major sets scheduled later. 2026 livestream dates and time zones

April’s dates used daylight time in the United States, so 7 p.m. ET is more precise than calling the start time 7 p.m. EST. Viewers outside the United States should rely on the official schedule or livestream app for local conversions.
Where the official broadcast was available
The official livestream was hosted on Coachella’s YouTube channel. Coachella also directed viewers to its official livestream page, which included broadcast information and replay scheduling.

Using the official channel was safer than searching for similarly titled videos, unofficial restreams, clips, or watch parties. The basic online broadcast did not require a Coachella festival ticket or a separate festival subscription.

It was more than one stream
YouTube promoted live coverage across seven stages, rather than a single continuous main-stage feed. That gave viewers more ways to follow artists, but it also meant that coverage was divided among separate stage streams and schedules. Seven streamed stages should not be interpreted as a promise that every performance or every festival area was available at every moment.

For viewers focused on the main festival performances, the Coachella Stage feed was the natural starting point. Fans following electronic acts or looking for discoveries could compare the Sahara and other stage schedules before choosing a feed.
Viewing features YouTube promoted
- 4K feeds: YouTube specifically identified the Coachella Stage, Outdoor Theatre, and Sahara streams as supporting 4K. That did not mean every feed or device delivered 4K.
- Multiview: Supported TV experiences could show up to four stages at once. Availability depended on the device and YouTube’s feature restrictions. Multiview was useful for comparing simultaneous sets, but viewers generally still needed to select or switch the active audio rather than expect all four stages to play equally.
- Coachella TV: A 24/7 station offered archival performances and festival highlights, providing programming beyond the live stage feeds.
- Watch With: Weekend 2 included promoted artist and creator commentary or reaction streams.
- YouTube Shopping: YouTube also promoted limited-edition merchandise, although it was not required to watch the broadcast.

How viewers could find a particular artist
- Open the official Coachella livestream destination rather than relying on a general YouTube search.
- Check the schedule for the correct weekend, day, stage, and local time.
- Use the Coachella Livestream app for Android or iOS to plan a viewing schedule, synchronize times to the viewer’s time zone, and discover artists.
- Set reminders or notifications where available, then recheck the official listing shortly before a performance.
Set times, channel links, and availability can change. A headline time such as 7 p.m. ET was therefore not a substitute for an artist-specific schedule.
What happened if a viewer missed the live start?
Depending on the listing, a viewer might have been able to rewind a live feed while it was still running, watch an official replay or scheduled encore, or find individual clips uploaded later. The official Coachella livestream page referred viewers to replay scheduling, but not every performance should be assumed to have a permanent full-length replay.

For archived viewing, the best route was to check the official Coachella page and YouTube channel rather than assume that an old search result represented the complete broadcast.
2026 status
The 2026 Coachella livestream has ended. The 7 p.m. ET times applied to the Friday launches on April 10 and April 17, 2026. They should not be treated as an annual Coachella rule, and the 2026 announcements did not confirm a livestream start time for 2027.
