- Return to Pandora for the third chapter of Marine turned Na’vi leader Jake Sully and his family. Reeling from one death, the Sullys set out to prevent another — aided by the Wind Traders. But on the way, they’re attacked by the Ash People, who blame Eywa for their ravaged home. Warning: Some flashing-lights scenes may affect photosensitive viewers.
What the three-part animated story is about
Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths adapts the multiverse-collapse premise of Marv Wolfman and George Pérez’s landmark comic event. It is not a scene-for-scene animated reproduction of the 1985–1986 comic. Instead, the films use the crisis as the culmination of DC’s Tomorrowverse, the continuity established across a series of earlier animated features.
In the story, the multiverse faces an extinction-level threat as the Anti-Monitor attacks surviving Earths. The Monitor, Supergirl, the Justice League, and allied heroes are drawn into a last defense of reality itself. DC’s description of Part Three places the remaining heroes in a pocket universe while they attempt to stop the Anti-Monitor and preserve what is left of the multiverse.
The trilogy’s structure matters: Part One establishes the crisis, Part Two expands the conflict and its consequences, and Part Three serves as the conclusion of both the event and the Tomorrowverse continuity. Readers should therefore look for all three individually rather than assuming that a single physical trilogy box set has been released.

- Jensen Ackles: Batman
- Darren Criss: Superman and Earth-2 Superman
- Meg Donnelly: Supergirl and Harbinger
- Stana Katic: Wonder Woman and Superwoman
- Aldis Hodge: Green Lantern/John Stewart
- Matt Bomer: one of the returning Tomorrowverse performers
The full ensemble is considerably larger, with additional returning and new voice performers across the three films. The most significant casting angle is the way the trilogy uses familiar DC animation voices while bringing the Tomorrowverse’s central characters to its planned endpoint. That is a continuity detail, not a claim about the quality of any individual performance.
Where can you watch or own it?
Digital storefronts
All three parts received digital distribution, although availability is handled by individual storefronts rather than one universal license. Part One’s digital purchase date was January 9, 2024, and Part Three’s was July 16, 2024. Prime Video listed a digital trilogy bundle containing Parts One, Two, and Three, while Google Play listed Part Two as a 4K purchase or rental title. Current purchase, rental, resolution, and bundle options should be verified directly in the viewer’s region.

Max streaming
Warner Bros. Discovery’s historical Max schedules listed Part Two for July 15, 2024, and Part Three for October 21, 2024. Those entries establish when the films were scheduled for the service; they do not guarantee that either film remains available there in every territory in August 2026. Streaming rights can expire, move between services, or differ outside the United States.
4K UHD and Blu-ray
Physical-media collectors can buy the films separately. Part One’s 4K UHD SteelBook and Blu-ray release followed on January 23, 2024. Part Three received 4K UHD SteelBook and Blu-ray editions on July 23, 2024. DC later described Part Three as available on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and digital.

For readers who prefer a disc copy, the most direct shopping search is Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths 4K UHD. Check the individual listing carefully: the trilogy was verified through separate physical editions, not through one confirmed official three-film 4K box set. Packaging, digital-code inclusion, region compatibility, stock, and price may vary.

The comic that inspired the trilogy
The animated films draw from Crisis on Infinite Earths by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, one of DC’s defining event comics. The comic is useful companion reading, but it should be approached as source material rather than a complete film guide. Its plot, scale, character handling, and continuity context belong to the 1985–1986 comic era, while the films reshape the premise around the Tomorrowverse.
DC’s 2026 catalog solicitation also lists a Crisis on Infinite Earths Compact Comics Edition, written by Wolfman with Pérez’s art, for an August 4, 2026 on-sale date. Availability will depend on retailers and territory, but the compact edition gives viewers a timely way to compare the original event with the animated adaptation.

The phrase “finally sets digital release” describes an earlier news moment, not the trilogy’s status today. Part One was already available digitally in January 2024, Part Three was available digitally on July 16, 2024, and the complete release cycle had moved into home viewing by the end of that year.
Best Value
The accurate current framing is that Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths completed its 2024 digital and physical release rollout. Viewers now need to choose between a digital storefront, a currently available streaming listing, or separate 4K UHD and Blu-ray editions—not wait for an announced digital debut.
