How to watch SummerSlam 2025
United States
Peacock was the exclusive U.S. live-streaming destination identified in the event guide. Viewers were directed to the WWE category in the Peacock app. Because platform catalogs and replay URLs can change, confirm that the event is currently available before subscribing specifically to watch this completed show. The historical live destination was Peacock; current on-demand access should be described separately.
For readers searching for a replay, the useful distinction is between the two original broadcasts: look for SummerSlam Saturday on August 2 and SummerSlam Sunday on August 3. A replay listing may be organized under WWE Premium Live Events rather than under a single two-night video.
International viewers
Viewing rights varied by territory. WWE’s event pages exposed regional options that included Netflix, WWE Network, Sony LIV, and Flow, but no one service should be presented as universally available. International viewers should use WWE’s current regional viewing information and verify the service in their country before attempting to watch.
Theater screenings
WWE and Fandango announced live screenings in select Regal Cinemas across the United States. Tickets were sold through Fandango as part of a multi-event collaboration, with Regal as the principal theater partner. That was a live-event option for the 2025 show, not a current ticket opportunity for an event that has already taken place.

Seth Rollins cashed in and became World Heavyweight Champion
The night’s advertised card ended with another major title change. Seth Rollins appeared to be injured, approached with crutches and a knee brace, then discarded them and attacked CM Punk with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Rollins completed the cash-in with a Stomp and captured the World Heavyweight Championship.
That means Saturday produced seven decisive championship developments if the post-match cash-in is included: Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss won the women’s tag titles, CM Punk briefly won the World Heavyweight Championship, and Seth Rollins left as the final World Heavyweight Champion. The event had six advertised matches, but Rollins’ cash-in was essential to the final account of the night.

What made SummerSlam 2025 significant?
SummerSlam 2025 was the first SummerSlam staged across two nights. WWE placed both shows at MetLife Stadium, giving the event a stadium-scale weekend format rather than a single evening card.
Night 1’s defining story was the World Heavyweight Championship sequence. CM Punk’s victory over Gunther would ordinarily have been the central ending, but Seth Rollins’ disguised cash-in changed the titleholder minutes later. Night 2 then centered on the conclusion of John Cena and Cody Rhodes’ championship story, followed by Lesnar’s surprise return.
Memorabilia and collecting
Fans looking for a physical reminder of the event may find licensed WWE collectibles more useful than generic wrestling merchandise. Depending on current inventory, event-related options have included shirts, John Cena–Cody Rhodes art prints, commemorative chairs, framed match collages, replica titles, and other memorabilia. Before buying, verify the retailer, seller, licensed branding, territory, price, and stock status; event merchandise can disappear or change after the show.
A WWE championship belt is a natural collectible for fans drawn to the title changes, but replica products vary considerably in size, materials, branding, and seller reliability. Treat marketplace listings as individual products rather than assuming every listing is official or equivalent to WWE Shop merchandise.
