The result gave Naomi a place in the later women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. It did not make her the Money in the Bank winner; this was a qualifying victory. The match also extended the tension between Naomi and her former friend Bianca Belair, whose celebration Naomi had interrupted earlier in the show.
JC Mateo defeated R-Truth
JC Mateo defeated R-Truth with the Tour of the Islands. Truth tried to draw on John Cena’s Attitude Adjustment, but he could not complete the move. After the match, Mateo and Solo Sikoa threatened a further assault until Jimmy Uso intervened.
Los Garza defeated Rey Fenix and Je’Von Evans
Los Garza defeated Rey Fenix and Je’Von Evans after Ethan Page changed the momentum at ringside. Page knocked Evans from the top rope, giving Los Garza the opening to hit MTY and secure the win.
The finish also kept the developing Page–Evans tension active, including the broader interaction connected with Worlds Collide-related stories. It was not simply a clean tag-team victory: Page’s interference was central to the outcome.
Zelina Vega defeated Alba Fyre in a non-title match
Zelina Vega defeated Alba Fyre with a Code Red. Chelsea Green and Piper Niven attempted to interfere, but Vega survived the disruption and completed the win.

The Women’s United States Championship was not on the line. This was a non-title match, so Vega’s victory did not represent a championship change.
Andrade qualified for Money in the Bank
Andrade defeated Carmelo Hayes and United States Champion Jacob Fatu in the men’s Triple Threat qualifier. The closing stretch became chaotic, with The Miz, Solo Sikoa, JC Mateo, Jimmy Uso, Hayes and Fatu all involved in the ringside disorder.
Andrade ultimately struck Hayes with The Message to win. Like Naomi, Andrade qualified for a later Money in the Bank Ladder Match; he did not win the briefcase on this episode.
Major promos and non-match segments
Bianca Belair received a Knoxville homecoming
Bianca Belair was welcomed back to SmackDown in Knoxville with a special entrance featuring the Pride of the Southland Marching Band. The location gave the segment a distinct hometown-style atmosphere and made Belair’s return one of the night’s most visibly local moments.
Naomi interrupted Bianca Belair
Belair’s celebration did not remain peaceful. Naomi interrupted her and continued the rivalry between the former friends. The confrontation created a direct story link to Naomi’s later qualification match: Naomi left the segment with momentum and ended the night as a confirmed member of the women’s Money in the Bank field.

The Wyatt Sicks continued targeting tag teams
The Wyatt Sicks continued their intimidation campaign against SmackDown’s tag-team scene. WWE’s recap framed the group as continuing to terrorize tag teams, but the available episode information did not establish a new championship match or a title change from the segment.
Damian Priest warned Jacob Fatu
Damian Priest delivered a warning to United States Champion Jacob Fatu. The segment positioned Priest as a threat in Fatu’s orbit and added another source of pressure around Fatu, Solo Sikoa and the surrounding Bloodline-related activity. No United States Championship change took place on the episode.
Cody Rhodes and John Cena’s closing confrontation
The most important long-form storyline segment brought together Cody Rhodes, Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena, World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso and Logan Paul.
Rhodes and Cena met for the first time since WrestleMania, turning the closing exchange into a direct continuation of their major title story. What began as a personal war of words escalated into a physical fight, with Jey Uso and Logan Paul involved in the broader confrontation.
The segment mattered because it moved the Cena–Rhodes rivalry beyond references to their previous encounter. The two champions’ verbal exchange became an on-screen fight, giving SmackDown its clearest escalation and its strongest reason to watch the episode after the fact.

Fans who want a physical keepsake connected to the episode’s headline feud can look for a Cody Rhodes WWE action figure or another American Nightmare collectible. That merchandise is related to Rhodes as a performer and is not an official May 30 episode product. Official WWE Shop inventory has included Cody Rhodes shirts, hoodies, accessories, replica items, photographs, plush products and action figures; availability changes over time.
