Tokyo Marathon 2024 is over. The race took place on Sunday, March 3, 2024, so there is no current live broadcast to join. For the original race-day coverage, Flo Sports was the official listed broadcaster in the United States and Canada. In Japan, Nippon Television’s coverage was streamed through TVer and Hulu, with additional programming on NITTERE TADA.
A currently accessible, complete official replay was not verified. If you are looking for the result rather than a live stream, the official Tokyo Marathon results and race-report archives are the most reliable places to start.
Where the 2024 Tokyo Marathon was available
The Tokyo Marathon Foundation’s international broadcaster announcement identified Flo Sports as the official broadcaster for viewers in the United States and Canada for the 2024 race. This was a historical rights assignment for the March 3, 2024 event—not confirmation that a Tokyo Marathon 2024 replay is still included with a current Flo Sports or FloTrack subscription.
For Japanese viewers, the official media information listed Nippon Television’s nationwide elite-race broadcast, regional coverage of mass participants, and a CS NITTERE Gtasu program focused on the wheelchair race and marathon finishers. Nippon Television also announced live and catch-up distribution through TVer and Hulu. Hulu’s Japanese coverage included a multi-angle feed from locations including the start, Ueno Hirokoji, Asakusa, and the finish.

Those Japanese services were announced within Japan’s broadcast ecosystem. The available announcements do not establish unrestricted access from the United States, Canada, or other countries, and sports-streaming rights are normally territorial.
United States and Canada: Flo Sports
For the United States and Canada, the clearest historical answer is Flo Sports. The Tokyo Marathon Foundation’s international-rights information specifically listed Flo Sports for both countries and stated that the event was distributed across 160 overseas countries and territories.
If you are researching the original 2024 broadcast, look for the Tokyo Marathon listing within Flo Sports or its running-focused FloTrack service. Do not assume that a current subscription provides the complete 2024 race: the research available for this article did not verify persistent replay access or a current Tokyo Marathon 2024 offering.
Japan: Nippon Television, TVer, and Hulu

| Coverage | Historical schedule | What it covered |
|---|---|---|
| Nippon Television nationwide broadcast | 9:00 a.m.–11:50 a.m. JST | The elite marathon race |
| Kanto-area Nippon Television network program | 12:00 p.m.–12:45 p.m. JST | The mass-runners marathon |
| CS Nippon NITTERE Gtasu | 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. JST | The wheelchair marathon and marathon finishers |
The associated online options were TVer, Hulu, and NITTERE TADA. Nippon Television’s February 29, 2024 announcement described live streaming and catch-up distribution on TVer and Hulu, while Hulu promoted multiple viewing angles.
Because the event is historical, these original live and catch-up windows should not be confused with an on-demand archive that is still active. Availability can also vary by location, account, device, and platform licensing.
International broadcasters by territory
The Tokyo Marathon Foundation’s international broadcaster list dated March 1, 2024 named the following outlets for the 2024 event:
| Territory or region | Historical broadcaster |
|---|---|
| United States and Canada | Flo Sports |
| Spain | Radiotelevisión Española, including RTVE Play |
| 63 European and nearby territories, including the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, and Switzerland | Eurosport |
| Malaysia | ASTRO |
| Mainland China, excluding Macau, Taiwan, and Hong Kong | Great Sports Media |
| 46 countries and territories in Latin America, the Caribbean, and related markets | ESPN International |
| 46 listed sub-Saharan African countries and territories | Canal+ regional services |
This is a record of the planned 2024 rights arrangement, not a guarantee of present-day access. Viewers outside Japan, the United States, and Canada should check the broadcaster serving their country rather than trying to use a Japanese or U.S. platform that may be geographically restricted.

- BUILT-IN USB COOLING FAN - Prevents phone overheating during hot outdoor events. Simply connect the fan to an external power bank (not included) to keep your cell phone running cool and performing at its best, even under direct sunlight.
- ADJUSTABLE SUNSHADE FOR GLARE-FREE RECORDING - The foldable cover of the phone fence mount provides two shading modes (90° and 180°) to protect your phone from the sun on top, sides, and back while recording or livestreaming the game.
- ELIMINATE THE "FENCE-WIRE" VIEW - We minimized the backplate thickness to reduce parallax to nestle your phone's camera as close as possible to the fence mesh. By aligning the lens directly with an opening, it captures the pure action beyond the fence, not the fence itself.

- MOUNT ANYWHERE WITH 1/4" TRIPOD SOCKET - The built-in 1/4" tripod socket transforms the fence mount into a universal camera holder. When you can't clip it to the fence, secure it to a tripod for a complete, flexible filming solution anywhere.
What time was the Tokyo Marathon broadcast in the United States?
The Japanese elite broadcast began at 9:00 a.m. Japan Standard Time on Saturday, March 3, 2024. Converted to U.S. time zones, that was approximately:
- Eastern Time: 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2
- Central Time: 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2
- Mountain Time: 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2
- Pacific Time: 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2
These are conversions of the Japanese broadcast start time, not a claim that every international platform used exactly the same schedule. Regional services could have had different pre-race programming, start times, or presentation windows. The race itself was held in Tokyo on Sunday morning local time.
Can you still watch the full 2024 Tokyo Marathon replay?
A complete, currently accessible official replay on TVer, Hulu, Flo Sports, or the Tokyo Marathon website was not verified for this guide. The original Nippon Television announcement confirmed catch-up distribution around the event, but that does not establish that the video remains available after the original rights window.
Unofficial video uploads and third-party stream pages may appear in search results, but they were not verified as authorized or permanently available. They should not be treated as official viewing options.

If you already have legitimate access to a compatible service, a streaming media player can make sports coverage easier to watch on a television. TVer’s device guidance mentions compatible connected TVs, streaming devices, set-top boxes, and Amazon Fire TV series devices; Hulu’s supported-device information also lists Fire TV and Fire TV Stick.
An Amazon Fire TV Stick may therefore be a practical general-purpose option for supported streaming apps. However, buying the device does not provide access to Tokyo Marathon 2024, Flo Sports, TVer, or Hulu. Access still depends on your country, the service’s app support, an eligible account, and whether the particular race video remains available.

How to check a historical sports stream safely
- Confirm the date. Tokyo Marathon 2024 was held on March 3, 2024; it is not a current live event.
- Start with the race organizer. Check the official Tokyo Marathon results and press-release archives for verified race information.
- Match the broadcaster to your territory. Rights differed between the United States and Canada, Japan, Europe, Latin America, Malaysia, China, and Africa.
- Check the platform directly. Search the official broadcaster’s current listings rather than relying on old search-result snippets or third-party stream pages.
- Check replay wording carefully. “Catch-up distribution” in a 2024 announcement does not mean a permanent archive.
- Use a compatible TV device only if needed. Hardware can run supported apps, but it cannot bypass territorial restrictions or restore an expired stream.
