The connection to r/NFLStreams
The story begins with r/NFLStreams, a Reddit community that users associated with links to unauthorized live sports broadcasts. In 2019, Reddit banned the subreddit under its repeat-infringer copyright policy.
Reddit’s 2019 transparency reporting recorded 34,989 copyright notices, 124,257 copyright removals, and 137 subreddit removals under that policy. Reddit explains that a community can be closed when repeated infringement is pervasive or when a subreddit is dedicated to sharing content that violates copyright. That provides a documented explanation for the disappearance of r/NFLStreams: it was not merely an ordinary subreddit that went inactive.
After the ban, NFLBite became a commonly cited off-Reddit destination for people looking for similar stream links. The strongest conclusion is narrower: the original brand and its domains became unstable, and the name was subsequently used by a changing collection of pages. “The old site is down” does not mean “every page using the name has disappeared,” and “a new page uses the name” does not mean “the original service has returned.”
Why current NFLBite mirrors are difficult to trust

Reddit’s policy concerns content and communities hosted on Reddit. It explains why a stream-link subreddit could disappear and why users might seek another platform. NFL+ is more suitable for mobile viewing, preseason coverage, replays, NFL Network access, and related league content. It should not be presented as a full substitute for Sunday Ticket or as a guarantee that every live game can be watched on a television.
