How the main GRAMMY ceremony streamed
The main ceremony was broadcast in the United States on CBS and streamed live and on demand through Paramount+. The important plan distinction was:
- Paramount+ Premium: provided live access through the local CBS affiliate feed, subject to local availability.
- Paramount+ Essential: provided on-demand access beginning the following day rather than live access to the CBS broadcast.
Plan features and availability can change, so check Paramount+’s current plan information before signing up for a future awards broadcast. The 2026 event itself does not require a new subscription merely to watch the official clips and replay material that remain available through GRAMMY channels.
What was the Premiere Ceremony?
The Premiere Ceremony began at 3:30 p.m. ET / 12:30 p.m. PT on February 1. It streamed through live.GRAMMY.com and the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel. This earlier presentation handed out the first—and majority—of the day’s awards before the televised primetime ceremony.
What about the Los Angeles red carpet?
CBS Los Angeles also aired a separate local red-carpet program beginning at 4 p.m. Pacific on KCAL and through CBS News Los Angeles. That was a local CBS Los Angeles production, not a replacement for the official national “GRAMMY Live From The Red Carpet” special.

How to watch future GRAMMY broadcasts without cable
For a future GRAMMY ceremony or another awards broadcast carried by CBS, services such as Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, and FuboTV may be alternatives to a traditional cable subscription. The Associated Press listed those services among the options carrying CBS for the 2026 event.
Do not treat that list as a permanent guarantee. Before a future event, verify all of the following:
- Whether the service carries CBS in your ZIP code or local market
- Which plan includes live CBS access
- Whether the event is included in your region
- Current pricing, eligibility, and any trial terms
These services are useful for future live broadcasts; they are not necessary to access the completed 2026 GRAMMY red-carpet videos.
Watching the GRAMMY replay on a television
If your television does not already have the apps or browser access you need, an optional 4K streaming stick can put YouTube and other supported streaming services on the big screen. YouTube supports smart TVs and streaming devices, including Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast, and Google TV devices.
A streaming stick is only the viewing hardware. It does not include Paramount+, CBS, or a free subscription, and it does not unlock a GRAMMY broadcast by itself. You would still open the official GRAMMY or YouTube app and use any subscription or local-TV access required for a live event.
