The 24 new Christmas movies coming to Hallmark this holiday season were Hallmark’s 2025 Countdown to Christmas lineup, not a complete 2026 announcement. The films premiered from October 18 through December 21, 2025, aired on Hallmark Channel, and streamed the next day on Hallmark+.
Because the available official 2026 information was still partial as of August 16, 2026, this article clearly separates the complete 2025 schedule from the few 2026 titles and dates Hallmark had announced.

Where can you watch the new Hallmark Christmas movies?
The new Countdown to Christmas movies premiered on Hallmark Channel and streamed the next day on Hallmark+. Hallmark’s official FAQ describes Countdown to Christmas as an original programming event featuring new holiday movies and series from Hallmark Channel, with next-day streaming on Hallmark+; Hallmark’s official Countdown to Christmas information confirms that viewing arrangement.
For a current viewing option, check Hallmark’s schedule and Hallmark+ catalog before watching. Streaming availability can change, and the 2025 films should not be assumed to remain in the catalog indefinitely.
Hallmark Mystery is a different option: the channel carries a separate 24/7 selection of holiday favorites from Hallmark’s vault. That selection is not the same thing as the 2025 Countdown to Christmas premiere schedule.

Can you buy the Hallmark Christmas movies on DVD?
Some Hallmark holiday films are available on DVD, but title-level availability varies and there is no basis for saying that all 24 movies in the 2025 lineup received DVD releases. Hallmark’s official movie page for Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True includes a “BUY DVDS” path, making Hallmark Christmas movies on DVD a reasonable option for viewers who want physical media or a giftable collection.

Hallmark had also previewed The Nights Before Christmas, starring Tyler Hynes and Laci J. Mailey, without publishing a complete schedule in the researched official announcement. Hallmark’s 2026 Countdown to Christmas news page is the appropriate place to check for later additions and date changes.
Hallmark’s separate 2026 Christmas in July schedule listed four new holiday premieres: Christmas Under Construction, O Little Christmas Market, Snowbound for the Holidays, and Love Under the Mistletoe. These are 2026 holiday titles, but they should not be added to the 24-film 2025 Countdown to Christmas count. The official Hallmark Christmas in July 2026 schedule lists those titles separately.
Which 2025 Hallmark movies fit different viewing moods?
The 24-film schedule is easier to navigate by premise than by cast alone. Viewers looking for a particular kind of holiday story can start with these groupings:

How should you use this Hallmark Christmas movie schedule?
Use the 2025 list when looking for movies that already premiered, and use Hallmark’s official schedule and catalog when checking whether a particular title is currently available. Do not describe the 24 films as “coming soon” in a current 2026 article: the accurate wording is that Hallmark released 24 new movies during its 2025 event.
- Choose a date or theme. The chronological table identifies the premiere order, while the mood table groups the movies by premise.
- Check the platform. Hallmark Channel carried the premieres, and Hallmark+ offered them the next day according to Hallmark’s official FAQ.
- Verify current availability. Catalog placement can change after the original broadcast season.
- Check physical-media details separately. A DVD may exist for one title without being available for every movie in the lineup.
- Keep 2026 separate. Only the officially announced 2026 titles and dates should be added to a current preview.
