Is there an NFL+ free trial right now?
There is no universally confirmed free trial duration for all U.S. users. NFL subscription terms allow the service to offer a free trial, discounted introductory rate, or another promotion, but those offers may be limited by platform, subscription product, location, or subscriber eligibility.
In practice, a trial may appear only for certain accounts during checkout. Before subscribing:

It did not apply to current annual subscribers’ existing billing cycles and did not continue automatically at renewal.
That promotion ended on April 25, 2026. It should be treated as expired unless the NFL displays a renewed version during the current checkout process. It was not a permanent coupon code, and the expired offer should not be used to calculate today’s price.

Can season-ticket members get NFL+ cheaper?
Possibly. The NFL’s 2026 Membership Club information says eligible full-season-ticket members, full-season club-seat holders, and suite owners may receive 40% off an annual NFL+ membership through an exclusive offer link provided by their club representative.
This is not a universal public discount. Eligibility can depend on the team, account type, participating club, and the terms of the offer. If you qualify, check your team or club-member communications or ask your club representative for the official link. Do not copy a private or previously issued code and assume it will work for another account.
How to find an account-specific NFL+ deal
Use this checklist before looking for third-party coupon codes:
- Check the official NFL+ checkout. Select the plan you want and inspect the price shown immediately before payment.
- Compare monthly and annual billing. The annual plan has the lower regular effective monthly cost, but it may not be refundable simply because you later stop watching.
- Check the platform you will use to subscribe. An offer visible on NFL.com may not be available through Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon Fire, or another billing platform.
- Look for member benefits. Season-ticket members should check their club representative or official member portal.

How NFL+ differs from watching every NFL game
NFL+ is not a universal replacement for every NFL broadcast package. Live local and primetime regular-season and postseason games are generally limited to supported phones and tablets. NFL+ also includes live game audio and live out-of-market preseason games, while content availability can vary by location, device, platform, broadcast policy, and schedule.
NFL+ may not provide every out-of-market regular-season game live on a television. Local-market rules, national broadcast arrangements, blackouts, technical issues, and scheduling changes can affect what you can watch. Review the game and device restrictions for your location before subscribing, especially if your main goal is watching a particular team on a TV.
NFL Network content and some preseason programming may be available across more devices, but availability is not identical for every feature. Premium’s full and condensed replays are also different from live access to every game.
Auto-renewal: the warning that matters most
NFL+ and NFL+ Premium automatically renew until canceled. A trial or discounted period can become a standard paid subscription when it ends. Record the renewal date as soon as you subscribe and cancel before that date if you do not want another charge.
If you cancel a paid subscription during its current billing period, access generally continues until the end of that period. Under the general NFL terms, cancellation does not normally refund the current transaction. Canceling a direct NFL.com subscription
- Sign in to your NFL account.
- Open the account’s Manage Subscriptions area.
- Select NFL+ or NFL+ Premium.
- Choose the cancellation option and follow the confirmation steps.
- Verify that the next renewal is canceled and save the confirmation.
Canceling through an app or device platform
If you subscribed through Apple, Google Play, Roku, or Amazon Fire TV, cancellation generally must be completed through that platform’s subscription-management settings rather than only through NFL.com. Look for NFL+ in the platform account that was charged and turn off recurring billing there.
Deleting the NFL app does not cancel a subscription. Likewise, signing out of the app does not stop renewal.
Can you pause NFL+ instead of canceling?
NFL Support documents a pause feature for monthly subscriptions. When the pause ends, the subscription resumes and bills at the then-current monthly price unless you cancel it first.
A pause can be useful during the offseason, but it is not a guaranteed price lock. Note the date on which billing will resume and cancel before that date if you no longer want the service.
