Can Udio use custom lyrics and your own audio?

Recording original material can be a sensible adjacent workflow. A USB microphone for recording vocals may help a creator capture original vocals or source audio before an upload-based experiment, but a microphone is not required to use Udio and the creator still needs rights to every uploaded recording.
How do Styles and Voices work?
Styles lets a creator provide one or two audio clips and/or existing Udio songs as style references. Udio describes Styles as a way to capture a musical vibe without spelling out every characteristic in words.
The documented style dimensions include instrumental makeup and sound, vocalist tone, tempo, overall sound color, and song structure. Can Udio extend or edit a song?
Yes. Udio’s Sessions view is a timeline editing workspace that lets paid subscribers extend a track, replace a highlighted section, adjust lyrics, save takes, and undo changes.
Sessions is better understood as iterative songwriting and arrangement assistance than as a complete digital audio workstation.
