Justin Timberlake’s mugshot became a work of art in a Hamptons gallery when artist Godfrey Lohman created Tuesday Night Out Featuring Justin Timberlake, an Andy Warhol-inspired inkjet print on canvas. The piece was displayed at Romany Kramoris Gallery in Sag Harbor, where contemporary reports gave its July 2024 price as $520.
The work was based on the booking photograph taken after Timberlake’s June 18, 2024 arrest in Sag Harbor. It was a real gallery-displayed contemporary print, but it was not reported as an original Andy Warhol and its current availability has not been verified.

What happened to Justin Timberlake’s mugshot?
Justin Timberlake’s mugshot became the subject of a pop-art print after the singer’s June 18, 2024 arrest in Sag Harbor, New York. Artist Godfrey Lohman transformed the widely circulated booking photograph into Tuesday Night Out Featuring Justin Timberlake, which was displayed at Romany Kramoris Gallery in the same village.
The arrest followed a traffic stop. The Associated Press account of the June 18, 2024 charge reported that police accused Timberlake of failing to stop at a posted stop sign and failing to maintain his lane before determining that he was operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. The mugshot quickly became a recognizable image beyond the legal story, making it a natural subject for commentary about celebrity, publicity, and the speed of internet culture.

Who made the Justin Timberlake mugshot artwork?
Godfrey Lohman is credited with creating Tuesday Night Out Featuring Justin Timberlake. Contemporary coverage also discusses photographer Mary Godfrey’s involvement in producing the inkjet-on-canvas edition, so the reporting distinguishes the artist credited for the work from the production process.
The work was presented in several color treatments and described as Andy Warhol-inspired. That description refers to the visual approach—repeating or reworking a famous public image in bold pop-art variations—not to authorship by Warhol. The print was not reported as an original Andy Warhol work.
Robert Lohman, identified in the reporting as an artist, explained the appeal of the source image: “When I first saw this image of Timberlake, I said, ‘this is iconic.’ I felt a calling to develop it.” He also connected the project to Warhol’s treatment of public imagery: “Andy Warhol’s genius was in knowing which images would capture and evoke a moment in time, and Justin’s mugshot seemed to me to do exactly that.” These statements are quoted in Artnet News’ report on the Timberlake mugshot print.
Where was Justin Timberlake’s mugshot art displayed?
The artwork was displayed at Romany Kramoris Gallery in Sag Harbor, New York. Sag Harbor is also the Hamptons village where Timberlake was arrested, giving the gallery presentation a direct geographic connection to the image’s origin.

Gallery owner Romany Kramoris recalled seeing the image and said, “My reaction was, ‘Oh my God! That’s great! It’s just great!’” Leslie Raff, a gallery employee, called it “[Timberlake’s mugshot] is our most contemporary piece! It’s au courant.” The comments were reported by Us Weekly’s account of the Hamptons gallery display.
How much was the Justin Timberlake mugshot art?
According to contemporary reporting from Us Weekly on July 4, 2024 and Artnet News on July 8, 2024, the reported price was $520. That is a historical price for the gallery presentation, not a verified current price.
One July 2024 report said that “two or three” works had sold by that point, based on comments attributed to the gallery. The reports do not establish the total edition size, current inventory, resale value, or whether the print remains available. A listing found elsewhere under a phrase such as Justin Timberlake mugshot art print should not automatically be treated as the Godfrey Lohman gallery edition.

Is the Justin Timberlake mugshot print a real Warhol painting?
No. The Justin Timberlake mugshot artwork was described as Warhol-inspired, not as an original Andy Warhol painting or print. The distinction matters: Godfrey Lohman’s work uses a pop-art treatment associated with Warhol’s approach to recognizable celebrity imagery, but the reported creator is Lohman.

The more precise description is a limited-edition contemporary inkjet print on canvas based on Timberlake’s booking photograph. Calling it a “Warhol-style” or “Warhol-inspired” work describes its aesthetic influence; calling it a Warhol artwork would incorrectly identify the artist.
What does the artwork say about celebrity images?
The print turns a utilitarian police image into a collectible art object. A booking photograph normally functions as documentation of an arrest, but its rapid circulation gave Timberlake’s image a second life as a cultural symbol. Lohman’s treatment emphasizes how a familiar celebrity face can move from news coverage to online meme to gallery display.
The timing and location also shaped the work’s meaning. The print was shown in Sag Harbor shortly after the arrest, rather than years later as a detached historical portrait. The gallery’s decision to exhibit it made the work part of the same local conversation that had made the mugshot famous.
How should buyers identify the original reported artwork?
Buyers should compare four details before treating a listing as the gallery-associated work: the exact title, the Godfrey Lohman attribution, the inkjet-on-canvas format, and a credible connection to Romany Kramoris Gallery or the artist. A generic celebrity mugshot poster, a digital download, or an unrelated marketplace reproduction is a different product.

Authorization is another unresolved point. The available reporting does not establish that Timberlake approved the work, that the edition was officially licensed by him, or that every reproduction using the photograph is authorized. The artwork should therefore be described as based on Timberlake’s mugshot—not as Justin Timberlake-approved merchandise.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What is known and unknown about availability?
The known facts are limited to the 2024 gallery presentation, the reported $520 price, the multiple color versions, and the early sales comment. Current stock, the original edition size, a current official purchase page, and any resale market are not verified by the available research.
That means the safest answer to “Where can I buy the Justin Timberlake mugshot art?” is conditional: the work was displayed at Romany Kramoris Gallery in Sag Harbor, but current availability must be confirmed directly with the gallery or artist. An online listing using the same subject or a similar title is not proof that it is the original Lohman edition.
