Was the Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift kiss after the AFC Championship or the Super Bowl?
The famous January kiss was after the AFC Championship, not after the Super Bowl. The wording matters because Kansas City later played—and won—Super Bowl LVIII, where Kelce and Swift had another highly publicized on-field celebration in February 2024.
| Moment | Date | Location | What happened |
|---|---|---|---|
| AFC Championship celebration | January 28, 2024 | M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore | Chiefs beat Ravens 17–10; Swift joined Kelce and they kissed on the field. |
| Super Bowl LVIII | February 2024 | Las Vegas | The Chiefs went on to play in the Super Bowl after securing the AFC championship berth. |
The Chiefs’ official championship photo gallery also identifies the January 28 event as the celebration of Kansas City’s 2023 AFC championship. Calling that moment a “2024 Super Bowl” kiss incorrectly combines two separate celebrations.

Can you buy a poster or print of the celebration?
Yes, posters and prints featuring Swift and Kelce are available through different kinds of sellers, but buyers should distinguish licensed photography from unofficial fan-made artwork. A search for Taylor Swift Travis Kelce poster may return photographic prints, illustrations, paintings, and user-uploaded marketplace designs rather than one standardized or officially authorized product.
For an authentic editorial photograph, Getty Images lists a related Patrick Smith photograph from the AFC Championship celebration and provides licensing information. The Getty Images listing identifies the scene as Kelce celebrating with Swift after Kansas City defeated Baltimore on January 28, 2024. Licensing a professional image is different from buying a decorative fan print.
