The departure list was reported by Exclaim’s Canada-specific June 2025 coverage. Removal dates are historical schedule information; a title’s later return or availability on another service cannot be inferred from the June schedule.
Was June 2025 a large month for Netflix Canada?
Yes. The New On Netflix Canada archive recorded 123 additions and 135 removals for June 2025, meaning the catalogue changed substantially in both directions. The figure describes catalogue movements, not viewership, popularity, or the number of Netflix-produced originals. The archive’s June 2025 month snapshot provides the source for the count.
That imbalance also explains why a release article should distinguish between “major announced releases” and the complete Canadian catalogue. A title announced for Netflix globally is not automatically available in Canada on the same date, and Canadian licensing can differ from the United States catalogue.
How can you watch or gift the June Netflix Canada lineup?
The June 2025 titles were streamed through a regular Netflix Canada membership; the lineup did not require specialised hardware. Netflix says its service works across thousands of internet-connected devices, including compatible televisions and streaming hardware, as described on the official Netflix Canada service page.

A Netflix gift card Canada can be used to pay for membership or given to someone else as account balance. Netflix’s official Canadian gift-card page says, “Pay for membership or gift one to someone special.” Gift cards are optional rather than required for watching Netflix releases, and buyers should confirm the current Canadian currency, seller, denomination, delivery format, and availability before purchasing. Netflix also notes that payment-method and gift-card availability can vary by country and travel location in its help guidance about using Netflix outside your home.

Netflix’s June 2025 Canadian slate combined globally prominent franchise programming with documentaries and titles from different countries and formats. For documentary viewers, the practical shortlist is Trainwreck: The Astroworld Tragedy, Cocaine Smugglers at 30,000 ft, Trainwreck: Mayor of Mayhem, and Grenfell: Uncovered.
