The port alone does not guarantee that every drive, file system, or device combination will work, so check the device and drive specifications first.
If the device has a removable-storage slot, a microSD card for Android phone use can provide additional local storage for compatible phones and tablets. Not every Android device has a microSD slot, and some devices restrict which folders or apps can use removable storage. Confirm compatibility before buying and follow the device maker’s instructions for inserting, formatting, ejecting, or adopting the card.

iPhone and iPad

Windows PCs
