T-Mobile’s Hulu offer is real, but it is not available to every customer. Eligible Experience Beyond and Go5G Next wireless plans—and separately, qualifying All-In Home Internet plans—include Hulu (With Ads) after you activate and link the benefit to a Hulu account.
Hulu is included at no extra charge for some T-Mobile customers, but it is not a free benefit for every T-Mobile subscriber. The wireless offer applies to eligible Experience Beyond and Go5G Next plans, including qualifying Military, 55+, and First Responder versions. T-Mobile also has a separate Hulu benefit for qualifying All-In Home Internet customers.
In both cases, you must activate the benefit and link it to a Hulu account. Simply having a qualifying T-Mobile plan does not make Hulu immediately usable. The included version is Hulu (With Ads), not the ad-free tier.
Who gets Hulu through T-Mobile?
Wireless customers
T-Mobile identifies customers on any eligible Experience Beyond or Go5G Next plan as eligible for Hulu (With Ads). The listed Military, 55+, and First Responder variants of those plans are included as well, provided the qualifying service remains active and in good standing.

That does not mean all T-Mobile wireless plans qualify. If Hulu does not appear under your account’s available streaming benefits, check the exact plan name or contact T-Mobile before changing plans just to obtain the offer.
All-In Home Internet customers
T-Mobile separately advertises Hulu (With Ads) for qualifying All-In Home Internet lines. The Internet offer has its own eligibility and redemption rules, so wireless and Home Internet customers should follow the activation path associated with the qualifying service rather than assuming the two benefits work identically.
How to activate Hulu on an eligible T-Mobile phone plan
Use the account-holder profile when managing the benefit. The labels in T-Life can change, but Hulu should appear under your plan’s add-ons or streaming benefits if your account qualifies.
- Open or download the T-Life app and sign in to your T-Mobile account.
- Make sure you are using the account-holder profile.
- Open the Manage tab.
- Select See plans.
- Choose Manage add-ons.
- Scroll to the streaming benefits and select Hulu ON US.
- Select Continue.
- Follow the prompts to link an existing Hulu account or create a new one.
- Finish the Hulu activation process before trying to stream.
The subscription benefit starts when you activate the Hulu account. It does not begin merely because you have a qualifying T-Mobile plan.

Try signing in to T-Mobile’s website and managing the account there. Look for Hulu under your plan’s add-ons, shared add-ons, or streaming benefits. If the benefit is still missing, confirm that you are the account holder, that the qualifying line is active, and that the plan name is eligible.
Do not assume that a missing button means you need to buy a separate Hulu subscription. It may indicate an account-management issue, an ineligible plan, or a benefit that has not yet been made available on that account.
How to activate Hulu through T-Mobile All-In Home Internet
All-In Home Internet customers may be able to activate the benefit in T-Life, through T-Mobile’s website, or from an activation message.
Using T-Life
- Open T-Life and select the All-In Home Internet line.
- Open Manage add-ons.
- Choose Hulu (With Ads) ON US for Internet.
- Review and accept the third-party service terms.
- Start the activation.
- Complete Hulu registration or link an eligible Hulu account when prompted.
Using T-Mobile.com
On the website, the relevant route is generally View Account > Shared Add-ons > Manage add-ons. Select the All-In Home Internet line before choosing Hulu ON US for Internet, then complete the Hulu registration flow.

Using a text message or email
T-Mobile may send an activation link when the All-In Home Internet plan is added. Customers who also have T-Mobile wireless service may receive the link by SMS, while Internet-only customers may receive it by email. The link takes you through T-Mobile sign-in and Hulu registration.
If you receive an unexpected message, avoid entering credentials through a suspicious link. Open the T-Life app or type T-Mobile’s website address directly into your browser and look for the same benefit in your account.
Already paying for Hulu? Read this before activating
If you pay Hulu directly, or pay through another billing arrangement, you may need to cancel the existing subscription and wait until the current billing period ends before redeeming Hulu ON US.
Check the Hulu account page for the exact date on which the existing subscription becomes inactive. Activating the T-Mobile benefit before that date may not replace the existing billing arrangement automatically.
Before canceling, identify who bills you for Hulu and note the account’s next billing or inactive date. If Hulu is billed through a third party, that provider’s cancellation rules may also apply.
What Hulu plan is included?
The T-Mobile benefit is Hulu (With Ads). It should not be described as a free ad-free Hulu subscription. Commercial breaks remain part of the included tier.
Be careful during activation: Hulu may present upgrade options or additional features. The T-Mobile-paid benefit is tied to the included offer. T-Mobile says switching to another Hulu plan after redemption can forfeit the complimentary benefit and make you responsible for the resulting subscription charges.
Can you upgrade to an ad-free plan?
Possibly, depending on the options shown in your account, but you should treat any plan change as a paid subscription decision. Do not select an upgrade or add-on unless you understand the price, the billing party, and whether T-Mobile will continue paying for the included Hulu tier.

The safest approach is to keep the Hulu account on the included Hulu (With Ads) plan unless you have confirmed the consequences of changing it.
How long does the free Hulu benefit last?
The benefit depends on maintaining the qualifying T-Mobile service in good standing. If you cancel the qualifying wireless or Internet service, remove the Hulu benefit, or move to a plan that does not include it, T-Mobile may stop paying for Hulu.
For the All-In Home Internet version, T-Mobile says removing the qualifying Internet plan or the Hulu ON US benefit immediately stops T-Mobile from being the payment method. Canceling the T-Mobile account ends the Internet Hulu ON US subscription. If you want to keep watching afterward, you would need to subscribe to Hulu directly.
Plan features and promotional offers can change or be discontinued. Before relying on the benefit—or changing your T-Mobile plan—verify that Hulu still appears in your logged-in account and review the current terms.

No. You do not need to purchase a phone, television, streaming stick, or other hardware to redeem the T-Mobile Hulu benefit. Activation is an account-linking process through T-Life or T-Mobile.com.
To watch Hulu on a television, use a supported smart-TV app, game console, streaming player, mobile device, or web browser. Hulu’s supported-device information can help you check whether your particular television or streaming platform is compatible.
Optional: watching Hulu on an older TV
If your television does not support the Hulu app, an Amazon Fire TV streaming device may be a practical optional solution, provided the specific device and TV meet the required compatibility and HDMI requirements. Buying hardware is not part of the T-Mobile activation process and is not necessary if you already have a supported device.
Hulu activation troubleshooting checklist
- Hulu is not listed: Confirm the exact T-Mobile plan, sign in as the account holder, and check both T-Life and T-Mobile.com.
- The activation link fails: Sign in directly through T-Life or T-Mobile.com rather than repeatedly using an old email or text link.
- You already have Hulu: Find the billing provider and inactive date, then wait for the existing billing period to end if required.
- You are seeing a price: Check whether you selected an upgrade, add-on, or different Hulu tier instead of the included Hulu (With Ads) plan.
- Hulu works on one device but not another: Check whether the television, player, console, or mobile device supports Hulu; the T-Mobile benefit does not guarantee compatibility with every device.
- The benefit disappeared: Check whether the qualifying T-Mobile service is still active and whether the Hulu plan or T-Mobile add-on was changed.
Bottom line: check your account before making a change
T-Mobile’s Hulu offer can remove the normal Hulu subscription charge for eligible customers, but it is a plan benefit—not universal free Hulu. Wireless eligibility centers on Experience Beyond and Go5G Next, including listed Military, 55+, and First Responder variants. A separate offer applies to qualifying All-In Home Internet customers.
