Rent or buy Borderlands online
The latest retrieved U.S. availability data listed Amazon Video, Fandango At Home, FlixFling, and the Apple TV Store as rental or digital-purchase routes. Prices were not normalized across those services, so it would be misleading to quote a single rental or purchase price here.
Before paying, check whether you are selecting a rental or a purchase, the period allowed to start and finish a rental, the video resolution, and whether the title can be downloaded or watched only through a particular app. Amazon Video is a transaction route in the available data; that does not establish that the film is included with every Prime Video subscription.

Is Borderlands still in theaters?
Borderlands originally opened in U.S. theaters on August 9, 2024. The available research does not establish a dependable nationwide theater schedule for August 13, 2026. Any listing that still shows tickets may represent a special screening, repertory booking, local event, or delayed listing data rather than a broad theatrical run.
To look for a local screening, search a live ticketing service using your ZIP code and confirm the date, theater, and showtime directly before traveling. In other words, treat Borderlands showtimes as a location-specific search—not evidence that the film is currently playing nationwide.
Physical-media options

Availability, seller, shipping, price, and included-code details are volatile, so inspect the current product listing carefully rather than assuming every listing contains the same bundle.
When choosing a physical copy, verify:
- whether the listing is for 4K UHD, standard Blu-ray, DVD, or a bundle;
- whether a digital code is included and whether it has an expiration date;
- the disc region and player compatibility, especially when importing an edition;
- the seller, condition, shipping cost, and return policy; and
- the current price and stock status.
