Reba McEntire remained with the show. For clarity, this was the Season 25 finale in 2024—not the latest Voice finale, since the franchise continued with later seasons.

| Place | Contestant | Team |

| 1st | Asher HaVon | Team Reba |
| 2nd | Josh Sanders | Team Reba |
| 3rd | Bryan Olesen | Team John Legend |
| 4th | Nathan Chester | Team John Legend |
| 5th | Karen Waldrup | Team Dan + Shay |
The result meant that McEntire placed both the winner and runner-up. John Legend also had two contestants in the final five, with Olesen taking third and Chester taking fourth.
Which coaches left after the Season 25 finale?
John Legend, Chance the Rapper, and Dan + Shay left the coaching panel after Season 25. Reba McEntire stayed on the show.
The subsequent coaching lineup added Gwen Stefani, Snoop Dogg, and Michael Bublé alongside McEntire. The change was part of the show’s normal rotating-coach format. It is also important to distinguish coaches who officially left after the season from former coaches who appeared during the finale: a guest appearance or tribute did not mean that person was returning as a coach.
How the two-night finale unfolded
The Season 25 finale aired in two parts:
- Monday, May 20, 2024, at 8 p.m. Eastern: the finalists performed and America voted.
- Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 9 p.m. Eastern: the show revealed the winner and featured additional performances and coach appearances.
The finale’s result therefore came from the public vote following the finalists’ last performances, rather than from a final decision by the coaches.

Finale performances and memorable appearances
The finale brought back several familiar faces from the show’s history. Former coaches and franchise figures appearing in performances or video tributes included Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson, CeeLo Green, Niall Horan, Jennifer Hudson, Nick Jonas, and Adam Levine.
The guest lineup included The Black Keys, Jelly Roll, Kate Hudson, Lainey Wilson, Muni Long, Thomas Rhett, and Season 23 winner Gina Miles. The program also included a lighter dance-off between John Legend and Chance the Rapper.
Rank #4
One of the evening’s most emotional moments came when McEntire invited Lainey Wilson to join the Grand Ole Opry. That invitation was a highlight of the finale, not part of the Season 25 competition result.
