Hallmark’s 2025 Countdown to Christmas included 24 original movies. The movie premieres ran from October 18 through December 21, 2025, primarily at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Channel. Hallmark says each new movie streams on Hallmark+ the following day.
This is the movie schedule—not the complete holiday programming lineup. Hallmark’s 2025 event also included series and reality programming, while Hallmark Mystery showed holiday marathons and favorites rather than a separate new-movie slate under the former Miracles of Christmas banner.

How to watch the movies on Hallmark Channel
The original premieres aired on the U.S. Hallmark Channel linear feed. That generally means access through a participating cable, satellite, or live-TV provider. A subscription to one provider’s Hallmark Channel feed may let you watch the live channel, but it should not be assumed to include Hallmark+.
Because the 2025 premieres have already taken place, viewers looking for them now should check the current Hallmark Channel schedule and Hallmark+ catalog rather than rely on the original broadcast dates. The 2025 event began with other holiday programming on October 17, but the first movie premiere was October 18.

How to stream the 2025 movies on Hallmark+
Hallmark’s stated rule for Countdown to Christmas was straightforward: new movies and series stream on Hallmark+ the next day. For this movie slate, that means the October 18 premiere was scheduled to stream October 19, and the December 21 finale was scheduled to stream December 22.
If you want next-day access to the lineup, Hallmark+ is the relevant subscription service. At the time covered by the research, Hallmark listed plans at $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year after any applicable trial. Prices, promotions, taxes, and plan details can change, so confirm the current offer before subscribing.
Supported ways to watch
Hallmark listed Hallmark+ support for Roku, Amazon Fire TV devices, Apple TV, Chromecast, supported Android TV and Sony TV devices, newer Samsung and LG smart TVs, iPhone and iPad, and Android phones and tablets. Compatibility can depend on the device model, operating-system version, app version, and region. If the app is not available on your television, a supported streaming device or casting method may be required.

Important streaming-availability warning
“Streams the next day” describes Hallmark’s scheduled streaming window; it does not promise permanent access. Hallmark’s terms state that titles can become unavailable, and catalog access may vary by subscription type, platform, territory, and licensing conditions. A movie listed here with a next-day date may therefore not remain in the Hallmark+ catalog indefinitely.
The safest approach is to search for the exact title in Hallmark+ before subscribing or planning a movie marathon. Availability in the United States should not be assumed to apply in every other country.
What is not included in the 24-movie count?
The count covers the 24 original movies listed above. It excludes Countdown to Christmas original series, reality programming, holiday specials outside this movie list, and Hallmark Mystery reruns or holiday marathons. It also does not mean that every Hallmark holiday film shown during the 2025 season was a new 2025 original.

Older Hallmark movies on DVD
Collectors may encounter the Hallmark Channel Countdown to Christmas 6-Movie DVD Collection (catalog number HM6866). That set contains older Hallmark holiday films—not the 24 original movies from the 2025 Countdown to Christmas slate—and it was listed as out of stock in the cited Hallmark product information. A DVD collection is therefore not a substitute for Hallmark+ if your goal is specifically to watch the 2025 movies.
