She is also a 2021 Miss Kansas USA titleholder, a Top 16 Miss USA contestant, an SMU alumna, and a public personality focused on sports, fitness, fashion, faith, service, and lifestyle media.
Gracie Hunt is best known publicly through two connected but distinct identities: she is the eldest daughter of Kansas City Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt, and she is a former beauty-pageant titleholder whose interests include sports, fitness, fashion, faith, and service. She won Miss Kansas USA 2021 and reached the Top 16 at Miss USA 2021.
Calling her a “Chiefs owner,” however, is imprecise. The Chiefs are owned by the families of Lamar Hunt’s four children, including the Hunt family branch led by Clark Hunt, while Clark serves as the club’s chairman and CEO. The available official sources establish Gracie’s family connection to the franchise, but do not establish a personal ownership percentage or a current formal position within the team.
Who is Gracie Hunt?
Gracie Hunt is the eldest child of Clark Hunt and Tavia Shackles Hunt. Clark Hunt is the Kansas City Chiefs’ chairman and CEO, and the couple have three children: Gracie, Knobel, and Ava. The Chiefs’ official biography confirms the family relationship and Clark Hunt’s role within the organization.

She is also an SMU alumna from the class of 2020. The available university material confirms her alumni status but does not specify a major or degree field, so claims about a particular academic concentration should be treated cautiously unless separately documented.
Her public profile sits at the intersection of professional football, pageantry, lifestyle media, and Kansas City celebrity culture. She has appeared in Chiefs-related coverage and public events, but the sources reviewed do not give her a current executive title, football-operations responsibility, or officially announced succession role with the club.
Is Gracie Hunt a Kansas City Chiefs owner?
Not according to the specific ownership information publicly identified in the official Chiefs material. The franchise is owned by the families of Lamar Hunt’s four children: Lamar Hunt Jr., Sharron L. Hunt, Clark K. Hunt, and Daniel L. Hunt. Clark Hunt is the club’s chairman and CEO.
That makes Gracie Hunt a member of one of the families connected to the Chiefs’ ownership structure and the daughter of the team’s chairman and CEO. It does not, by itself, prove that she personally owns a defined stake in the franchise.

Descriptions such as “Chiefs heiress,” “the team’s next owner,” “Chiefs executive,” or “future team decision-maker” go beyond the official information reviewed. Unless the Chiefs or another authoritative source announces a formal role, the most accurate wording is Clark Hunt’s eldest daughter and a member of the Hunt family associated with the Chiefs.

Her education at SMU
Hunt attended Southern Methodist University and is identified in SMU’s official alumni material as “Gracie Hunt ’20.” That supports her graduation or alumni connection to the 2020 class.
There is not enough information in the cited official record to responsibly name her major, degree field, or detailed academic career. A short biography can therefore identify her as an SMU alumna without assigning an unsupported specialization.

Miss Kansas USA 2021 and Miss USA
Gracie Hunt won the Miss Kansas USA title in 2021. She went on to compete at Miss USA 2021, where she reached the Top 16.
The pageant connection also runs through her family. Her mother, Tavia Shackles, won Miss Kansas USA in 1993 and later finished as second runner-up at Miss USA. That makes the mother-daughter pageant link an unusually documented part of Hunt’s biography rather than a casual family resemblance or media nickname.

In a March 2021 post on her own website, Hunt described service, athletics, fitness, fashion, and faith as important parts of her preparation for the pageant roles. She also wrote about previous volunteer involvement with organizations including Harvesters, Children’s Mercy, Make-A-Wish, and Special Olympics. Those activities are best presented as Hunt’s own account of her service work, not as an independently audited list of professional credentials.
Sports, fitness, and lifestyle work
Hunt’s public identity is not limited to pageantry or her family’s football connection. Her own website describes her as a former Miss Kansas USA, sports fan, and fitness enthusiast. Her writing and social-media presence emphasize athletics, exercise, fashion, faith, and lifestyle content.
The Tool Desk

Her website links to social platforms, outfit-shopping material, LikeToKnow.it, and Amazon. That makes fashion and accessories a documented part of her public-facing platform, although the available research does not establish a complete list of current brand partnerships or show that she personally endorses every product found through those links.
For readers interested in the pageant and lifestyle side of her public image, the responsible distinction is between topics she discusses or features—such as fitness, fashion, and preparation—and claims that she has a formal endorsement deal with a particular retailer or product. The latter requires separate, current documentation.
Faith and community service
Faith and service are recurring themes in Hunt’s own description of her pageant preparation. She has written about Christian faith and volunteer work as important elements of her identity.

Her references to Harvesters, Children’s Mercy, Make-A-Wish, and Special Olympics provide context for how she presents her community involvement. Because these details come from Hunt’s own published account, they should be understood as self-described activities rather than a complete or independently verified record of charitable work.
Gracie Hunt and Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story
Hunt’s connection to the Chiefs also extends into entertainment. She and her sister Ava were reported to have cameo appearances in Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, a 2024 Hallmark Channel film starring Hunter King and Tyler Hynes.
The distinction between a cameo and a starring role matters: Hunt is associated with the film through a brief appearance, not as one of its principal actors. Hallmark’s official film page lists the movie and identifies it as available through Hallmark+.
The film is a natural crossover point for fans of Kansas City football, holiday movies, and Chiefs-themed collectibles. Hallmark also sells a football ornament inspired by the movie. A Kansas City Chiefs football ornament can be relevant to this article’s audience as a piece of team or film-related memorabilia, but it should not be described as a product personally recommended by Hunt, and availability can vary by retailer and season.

Several claims commonly attached to celebrity biographies are not confirmed by the authoritative material reviewed for this profile:
- Personal Chiefs ownership: no verified ownership percentage or individually defined stake is established.
- A formal Chiefs job: the sources do not confirm that Hunt is a team executive, officer, or football decision-maker.
- Future ownership or succession: no official source reviewed names her as the Chiefs’ next owner.
- Net worth: no independently verified figure is provided.
- Current relationship status: the research does not confirm a current marriage or engagement status.
- Detailed employment biography: her current formal occupation and organizational titles are not fully documented in the cited sources.
These limits do not make her background uninteresting. They clarify it. Gracie Hunt’s documented public profile is built around family visibility within the Chiefs organization, a 2021 state pageant title, a Top 16 Miss USA result, SMU alumni status, lifestyle content, fitness, fashion, faith, service, and occasional entertainment appearances.

Why Gracie Hunt attracts public attention
Hunt’s visibility comes from the combination of several recognizable worlds. She is connected by family to one of the NFL’s best-known franchises, while also having an independent pageant history and a lifestyle platform that speaks to fashion, fitness, and sports audiences.
That combination explains why she appears in Chiefs-related stories even when she is not acting in an official team capacity. It also explains why coverage of her can shift quickly between football, pageantry, celebrity family background, social media, fashion, charity, and holiday entertainment.
The most reliable summary is therefore narrower than some headlines suggest: Gracie Hunt is Clark Hunt’s eldest daughter, an SMU alumna from the class of 2020, Miss Kansas USA 2021, a Top 16 Miss USA 2021 contestant, and a public sports and lifestyle personality. Her Chiefs association is substantial through family and media context, but a personal ownership stake or formal current role with the team is not established by the sources reviewed.
