If you want to watch it now, search for The Conjuring: Last Rites in the Max app or on JustWatch’s U.S. listings. It is also listed for digital rental or purchase through Amazon Video/Prime Video, the Apple TV Store, and Fandango at Home.
When did The Conjuring: Last Rites start streaming?
The Conjuring: Last Rites started subscription streaming on HBO Max on November 21, 2025. Warner Bros. Discovery described the date as the film’s global streaming debut and identified HBO Max as the exclusive streaming service at launch. The date applies to the U.S. availability covered here; streaming catalogs and release schedules vary by country.

Where can you watch it digitally?
HBO Max
HBO Max is the primary U.S. subscription-streaming option identified in the latest availability check. Search the service directly for the film and confirm that it appears in your local catalog. You need an eligible Max subscription to watch it through the service.
Amazon Video and Prime Video
Amazon lists the film as a transactional title with separate “Rent UHD” and “Buy UHD” buttons. At the time of the latest check, the listing showed a $3.99 rental and a $9.99 purchase, but digital prices can change, including through promotions.
Amazon’s listing also shows “More ways to watch,” including an HBO Max subscription route. A standard Prime membership should not automatically be described as including the movie in every account configuration. Depending on the account and location, you may instead see rental, purchase, or an HBO Max channel option. Check the current Prime Video listing before paying.

Apple TV Store
The Conjuring: Last Rites is listed in the Apple TV catalog as a movie available through the Apple TV storefront. That wording does not mean that the film is included with an Apple TV+ subscription. The available evidence supports describing it as available through Apple TV or the Apple TV Store, with rental or purchase availability reported by JustWatch.
You can view the title’s Apple listing here. Prices and purchase or rental options can vary by territory.
Fandango at Home
Fandango at Home is also listed as a U.S. digital rental and purchase option. As with the other transactional services, the price and available picture-quality formats should be checked on the platform before completing the transaction.
Is The Conjuring: Last Rites free with Prime Video?
Not necessarily. The current Amazon listing presents separate options to rent or buy the movie, as well as a possible HBO Max subscription route. A Prime membership alone should not be treated as a guarantee that the film is included at no additional cost. Account settings, channel subscriptions, location, and catalog changes can affect what Amazon displays.

Is it on Apple TV+?
There is no verified evidence that The Conjuring: Last Rites is included with Apple TV+. The film appears in the Apple TV storefront, which is different from the Apple TV+ subscription service. If you use Apple’s platform, check whether the listing offers a rental or purchase rather than assuming it is part of a subscription.
Is it on Netflix, Peacock, or Disney+?
The latest U.S. availability check found no current listing for the film on Netflix, Peacock, or Disney+. The U.S. options identified by the research are HBO Max for subscription streaming, plus Amazon Video/Prime Video, the Apple TV Store, and Fandango at Home for digital rental or purchase. Availability can change, so JustWatch’s current U.S. page is useful for checking changes across services.
Digital rental versus digital purchase
The October 7 digital release was a premium video-on-demand release, meaning viewers could pay to rent or buy the movie before it reached subscription streaming.
- Renting is usually the lower-cost choice if you only plan to watch the film once or twice. The platform’s rental window and playback deadline apply, so read the terms shown at checkout.
- Buying costs more but places the title in your digital library under the retailer’s rules. It is still a digital license rather than a physical disc, and access depends on the retailer account and service.
- Subscription streaming through HBO Max avoids a separate movie rental or purchase if you already subscribe, but it does not guarantee permanent access. Catalog titles can be added or removed.
Amazon’s observed prices were $3.99 to rent in UHD and $9.99 to buy in UHD at the time of checking. These figures are not permanent list prices and may differ by account, device, promotion, or location.

Physical release
The U.S. physical-media release arrived on November 25, 2025, three days after the linear HBO premiere. The formats included 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. This date is separate from both the October 7 digital release and the November 21 HBO Max debut.
International availability
The U.S. dates should not be applied worldwide. Warner Bros. Japan, for example, announced a January 9, 2026 digital-purchase date and a February 13, 2026 digital-rental date for Japan. That difference demonstrates why the HBO Max and digital dates above are specifically U.S.-focused.
If you are outside the U.S., search the local versions of Max, Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home—or use a country-specific availability guide—rather than relying on the U.S. release calendar.
Commonly confused release details
- “It comes to streaming in October”: misleading if streaming means a subscription service. October 7, 2025 was the digital rental and purchase date; HBO Max streaming began November 21.
- “It is free with Prime Video”: too broad. Amazon shows separate rental and purchase options, with HBO Max access potentially available through a channel subscription.
- “It is on Apple TV+”: unverified. The supported description is that it is listed through Apple TV/the Apple TV Store.
- “The HBO premiere is the streaming release”: incorrect. The linear HBO broadcast was November 22, one day after the HBO Max debut.
- “The physical release is the digital release”: incorrect. Digital availability began October 7, while 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD followed on November 25.
