Who is in the cast of Paradise Season 2?
Sterling K. Brown as Xavier Collins
Sterling K. Brown leads the series as Xavier Collins, a Secret Service agent and father whose investigation into President Cal Bradford’s death exposed the truth about Paradise. Season 2 puts Xavier on a dangerous search across the surface world for his wife, Teri, while also exploring what happens inside the bunker during and after his absence.
Xavier remains the show’s moral center: he is driven by family, grief and a need to distinguish genuine protection from control disguised as protection. Disney’s character guide describes him as morally driven, devoted to his children and grieving Teri.
Julianne Nicholson as Samantha “Sinatra” Redmond
Julianne Nicholson plays Samantha Redmond, better known by her codename, Sinatra. She created Paradise and has maintained order within the underground community. Season 2 examines the consequences of her injury, the pressure on her authority and the personal history that shaped her leadership.
Sarah Shahi as Dr. Gabriela Torabi
Sarah Shahi returns as Dr. Gabriela Torabi, a therapist and grief counselor who helped people adapt to life in Paradise. Her faith in the bunker’s system is tested as she confronts its secrets and the ethical cost of preserving a supposedly safe society through secrecy and control.

Krys Marshall plays Nicole Robinson, a protective, justice-oriented Secret Service agent closely connected to the Bradford family. Her relationship with Cal Bradford remains an important source of information and tension.

Charlie Evans plays Jeremy Bradford, Cal Bradford’s teenage son. Jeremy is beginning to question the society around him and wants to stand up for his own beliefs.
Recurring and guest cast
- James Marsden as President Cal Bradford: The former U.S. president whose death drives the original mystery. Season 2 continues to use Cal through flashbacks and through the consequences of his decisions.
- Shailene Woodley as Annie Clay: A tough, intelligent and tenacious med-school dropout who has adapted to life outside the bunker. Earlier character coverage sometimes omitted her surname; Disney’s later corporate coverage identifies her as Annie Clay.
- Thomas Doherty as Link: A charismatic, guarded survivor who leads a group outside Paradise. The official Disney character description identifies him as a survivor-group leader. Some earlier reports described him as the leader of a biker gang, but the official description is the safer reference point.
- Jon Beavers as Agent Billy Pace: A Secret Service agent and member of Xavier’s former protection detail. Although Billy does not survive Season 1, flashbacks and later revelations keep him relevant to the story.
Earlier casting coverage also mentioned Michael McGrady as Geiger, Timothy Omundson as Chef and Raymond Cham Jr. in recurring roles. Because those names are not included in the principal Hulu and Disney Season 2 cast materials used for this guide, they should not be treated as confirmed headline Season 2 cast members without checking final episode credits.
What is Paradise Season 2 about?
Spoilers for Season 1 and Season 2 follow.
Season 2 splits its story between two environments. Xavier leaves the underground community to search for Teri across the surface, while Paradise faces internal conflict, a leadership crisis and new questions about the origins of the city itself.
The season therefore changes the show’s scale. Season 1 was built largely around a presidential murder mystery and the revelation that Paradise was an underground refuge created after The Day. Season 2 asks what exists beyond that refuge and what kind of world the survivors have built—or failed to build—outside it.
The surface storyline also creates a social contrast. Some people survived with planning, infrastructure and resources; others had to endure the collapse without those advantages. The series uses that difference to examine privilege, preparation, violence, loyalty and the moral limits of deciding who gets to be saved.

Inside Paradise, Xavier’s absence leaves other characters to deal with the consequences of the community’s founding choices. Sinatra’s authority is vulnerable, the bunker’s systems are no longer easy to defend as neutral necessities, and residents must decide whether safety is worth the political and personal compromises demanded by the people running it.
Creator Dan Fogelman said the intention was to live in both the outside world and the bunker, with the two storylines eventually colliding. Production continued in Los Angeles while expanding the post-apocalyptic world beyond the original enclosed setting.

Season 1 revelations you need to remember
Season 1 established that Paradise is not an ordinary town. It is an underground community built to protect a selected population after a catastrophic event known as The Day. Xavier’s investigation into Cal Bradford’s death gradually exposed the bunker and the compromises behind its survival.
That context is essential to Season 2. Xavier is not simply looking for a missing person in a generic post-apocalyptic landscape: he is trying to find Teri while confronting the consequences of a system that separated the people inside Paradise from the people left outside. Sinatra is not merely a local administrator, either; she is the architect of the community and must defend the decisions that made its existence possible.
The season’s outside-world story consequently works as both a continuation of the mystery and a test of Paradise’s founding philosophy. The central question is no longer only who killed the president. It is whether a protected society can call itself humane when its protection depended on exclusion, concealment and unequal access to survival.

How was Season 2 received and how many people watched it?
Disney reported that the Season 2 finale grew 35% compared with the premiere and reached 4.3 million global views during its first three days across Disney+ and Hulu. Disney also reported that the first two seasons had passed 13 billion streamed minutes by April 2, 2026.
Those are company-reported figures, not independently audited audience measurements. Disney used different measurements in earlier announcements: on March 17, it reported more than 30 million hours for Season 2 and nearly 12 billion minutes streamed globally across the first two seasons. Those totals should not be compared as though they were the same metric or reporting period—hours and minutes measure different units, and the announcements covered different windows.

Yes. Disney officially renewed Paradise for Season 3 on March 17, 2026. However, no confirmed premiere date was available by August 11, 2026. By June 18, production was underway, the scripts were reportedly complete and Fogelman said filming was more than halfway finished.

That does not mean Disney has formally announced Season 3 as the final season. The accurate description is that the series was planned as a three-season story, while the official renewal announcement confirmed a third season but did not label it the last one.
Season 3 developments should also be kept separate from the Season 2 cast. June reports identified Julianna Margulies as joining the third season in an undisclosed role and noted set images involving Elijah Wood and Melissa Benoist. Those are not confirmed Season 2 cast facts.
Is there a Paradise Season 2 soundtrack?
Yes. Siddhartha Khosla’s original score for Season 2 was released digitally on March 27, 2026. Amazon Music lists Paradise: Season 2 (Original Soundtrack) as a 22-track, 91-minute album released by 20th Television. Readers interested in the music can find the digital Paradise Season 2 soundtrack on Amazon Music.
This is a digital music release, not confirmation of a physical soundtrack, vinyl edition or CD. Hulu describes Paradise as an original series, and its guide says the show is not based on a book. No official Season 2 novel, companion book, physical soundtrack or confirmed merchandise line was identified in the available research.
