F1 The Movie is already streaming on Apple TV. Apple’s confirmed global streaming debut was Friday, December 12, 2025. Because that date has passed, it is no longer accurate to describe the film’s Apple TV arrival as merely expected. Apple’s current catalog lists the movie as a 2025 title available through its subscription service, although availability, pricing, subtitles, and other terms can vary by country.
Starring Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, and Kerry Condon, F1 The Movie is a 2-hour-35-minute action drama directed by Joseph Kosinski. It first opened in cinemas in 2025 before moving through digital purchase, physical media, and subscription streaming.
When did F1 The Movie come to Apple TV?
F1 The Movie began streaming globally on Apple TV on December 12, 2025. Apple announced the date in October 2025, describing it as the film’s global streaming debut. The movie is therefore currently available through Apple’s streaming catalog as of the latest information available for this article, August 12, 2026.
Apple’s current movie catalog lists F1 The Movie, and its title page identifies the film as a subscription-streaming title. Check the listing for your country before subscribing, since catalog presentation and subscription terms are not necessarily identical worldwide.

How to watch F1 The Movie on Apple TV
- Open the Apple TV app or visit Apple’s TV website.
- Search for F1 The Movie.
- Open the film’s title page and review the availability shown for your region.
- Start or sign in to an eligible Apple TV subscription if the title is listed as included with the service.
- Select the movie and begin playback.
In this context, “Apple TV” refers to Apple’s streaming service and app. You do not need an Apple TV hardware box specifically. Apple says its service can be watched on Apple devices, Android devices, compatible smart TVs, streaming devices, gaming consoles, and the web. Supported devices and features can vary, so the practical requirement is a compatible device and an Apple account or subscription arrangement accepted in your region. See Apple’s watching information for the current platform list.
Is F1 The Movie included with Apple TV+?
Apple’s current listing presents the film as part of the Apple TV subscription catalog. That is different from buying the movie digitally. A subscription generally gives you access while the title remains available in the service and while your subscription is active; a purchase is a separate transaction intended for access through the account or store where you bought it.
The U.S. Apple TV catalog currently displays a trial-and-monthly-subscription offer, but prices, trial eligibility, taxes, and billing terms can change. Do not assume that a trial is available to every customer or that the U.S. offer applies in another country. Confirm the terms on the checkout or subscription page before paying.

Can you buy F1 The Movie instead of streaming it?
Yes. Before the subscription debut, Apple identified the film as available for digital purchase on participating platforms, including the Apple TV app, Amazon Prime Video, and Fandango at Home. A digital purchase is not the same thing as an Amazon Prime subscription or an Apple TV subscription: the store and account rules of the platform where you buy it determine how you access it later.
For viewers who prefer a physical copy, the film was released on October 7, 2025 in 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD formats. A physical edition can make sense if you want a disc-based copy, collectable packaging, or an option that does not depend on a streaming catalog remaining unchanged.
For the highest-resolution disc option, look for the F1 The Movie 4K UHD Blu-ray. You will need a compatible 4K Blu-ray player and a suitable display to take advantage of the 4K disc. If you do not have that equipment, the standard F1 The Movie Blu-ray or F1 The Movie DVD may be the more practical physical-media choice. None of these discs is required to watch the film through Apple TV.

Apple’s U.S. Formula 1 page describes live Grand Prix programming as a distinct sports offering. Watching the movie does not provide access to live races, and a page about live F1 coverage should not be treated as confirmation of the film’s availability. The movie and the racing broadcasts are separate content offerings, even though both appear under the broader Apple TV brand.
What if F1 The Movie does not appear in your Apple TV app?
- Check your country or region: Apple’s catalog, language options, subscription terms, and availability can differ by territory.
- Search the exact title: Use “F1 The Movie,” not only “F1,” which may return live-racing pages or unrelated results.
- Check whether you are browsing the store or subscription catalog: A purchase listing and a subscription listing can appear as different options.
- Update or switch devices: Try the Apple TV app on a compatible smart TV, streaming device, console, mobile device, or web browser.
- Review the account and subscription: Confirm that you are signed in to the intended Apple account and that the subscription is active in the relevant region.
If Apple’s local title page does not show the film, do not assume that an international listing guarantees access in your country. Regional rights and catalog changes can affect what is available at a particular moment.
The short answer

You can watch it through the Apple TV app or web service on a supported device, buy it digitally through participating stores, or choose the 4K UHD, Blu-ray, or DVD release. Check your local Apple TV listing for the exact price and terms before subscribing.
