For U.S. viewers who were watching the 2025/26 season, Paramount+ was the clearest direct streaming option for English-language coverage. UEFA listed Paramount+, TUDN, and DAZN as official U.S. broadcast partners for the final. Free legal viewing generally meant highlights, studio shows, replays, selected digital programming, or an authenticated stream—not a guaranteed free livestream of every full match.
What “free Champions League streams” actually meant
The word free covered several different types of access. Confusing them is how viewers ended up expecting every match to be available without a subscription or TV login.
| Type of access | What you can expect | 2025/26 U.S. reality |
|---|---|---|
| Free full live match | A specific match is explicitly offered free-to-air or free online in your territory. | No evidence supports a universal U.S. service offering every 2025/26 match free. |
| Free authenticated stream | You watch through an official website or app after signing in with an eligible television provider. | Possible for selected events, but authentication is not the same as unrestricted free access. |
| Free digital coverage | Studio shows, news, highlights, clips, replays, or selected live digital programming. | CBS Sports, CBS Sports Golazo Network, and UEFA platforms were useful sources of this type of coverage. |
| Paid official streaming | A subscription service carries the live match. | Paramount+ was the clearest direct U.S. subscription route identified for English-language viewing. |
Therefore, a search result promising “every Champions League game free” should be treated cautiously unless the broadcaster specifically identifies the individual match as free in the United States. Free highlights are valuable, but they are not a substitute for a live full-match feed.
U.S. streaming options for the 2025/26 season
Paramount+: the main direct English-language option
The U.S. Paramount+ plan page checked for this guide listed UEFA Champions League among the sports included with the ad-supported Essential plan. That page showed Essential at $8.99 per month and Premium at $13.99 per month. These are a price snapshot, not a permanent rate: prices, promotions, plan names, and included benefits can change, so check the current Paramount+ signup page before paying.

- Compact without compromises: The sleek design of Roku Streaming Stick won’t block neighboring HDMI ports, and it even powers from your TV alone, plugging into the back and staying out of sight. No wall outlet, no extra cords, no clutter.
- No more juggling remotes: Power up your TV, adjust the volume, and control your Roku device with one remote. Use your voice to quickly search, play entertainment, and more.
- Shows on the go: Take your TV to-go when traveling—without needing to log into someone else’s device.
- TV, simplified: With setup that only takes minutes, a simple-to-navigate Home Screen, and an uncluttered remote control that does all you need—Roku makes it easier to watch the TV you love.
The Premium plan was listed as including live CBS programming where available. That can matter to viewers who want local CBS access in addition to Paramount+ programming, but it does not mean that every Champions League match is automatically available through a free CBS stream. The event listing and your account or television-provider rights still determine what you can watch.
For someone who wanted an authorized U.S. stream in English during 2025/26, the practical process was:
- Check the current Paramount+ plan page for the Champions League listing.
- Confirm the specific match in the live sports or Champions League schedule.
- Sign in through the official Paramount+ website or app.
- Check whether the match is live, replay-only, or subject to a different provider or regional restriction.
Do not assume that a promotional price or free trial is available. A trial should only be claimed when it is visibly offered during the current signup process.
TUDN and DAZN
UEFA’s U.S. partner listing for the 2025/26 final included TUDN and DAZN alongside Paramount+. TUDN was the relevant name for viewers seeking Spanish-language coverage. DAZN was also an official listed partner.

Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
That partner listing does not establish that TUDN and DAZN were interchangeable with Paramount+, carried the complete season, offered every language feed, or made every match available under one identical subscription. Match inventory, language, authentication, replay access, and pricing can vary. Check the provider’s current schedule for the exact match rather than buying a service based only on its general Champions League branding.

CBS Sports and Golazo Network
CBS Sports was useful for free digital coverage, including soccer news, studio programming, highlights, clips, replays, and selected Champions League-related content. Its live environment exposed CBS Sports Golazo Network and UEFA Champions League channels.
However, CBS Sports pages also identify events with Paramount+ or CBS labels. That distinction matters. A page being visible on CBS Sports does not guarantee that the entire live match is free for everyone. Some events may require a Paramount+ subscription; others may require an eligible pay-TV login; and some digital channels may be free while offering studio coverage rather than the complete match.
The safest approach is to open the event listing and read the access label. If it says that a provider login or Paramount+ access is required, it is not a universally free stream—even if the CBS Sports page itself can be opened without paying.

Rights are territory-specific and can change between the league phase, knockout rounds, and final. Use this checklist rather than relying on a generic streaming roundup:
- Start with UEFA’s official Where to Watch information. Select the country where you will actually watch. A U.S. rights listing cannot be assumed to apply in Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, or any other country.
- Check the provider’s match schedule. Confirm the date, kickoff, competition stage, and whether the listing says live coverage, replay, highlights, or studio programming.
- Check the language. English and Spanish coverage may be assigned to different services, and a provider may not carry every available language feed.
- Check the access requirement. Look for wording such as subscription required, TV-provider authentication, free registration, or free-to-air.
- Verify close to kickoff. Prices, promotions, blackout information, and event availability are volatile. A provider’s general Champions League page is less useful than the page for the specific match.

Use the official Paramount+, CBS Sports, TUDN, or DAZN website for your territory. Sign in before kickoff and open the event from the provider’s live schedule. If a page only shows clips or a studio channel, it is not the full match feed.

Install the official provider app from your device’s authorized app store, sign in with the appropriate account, and search the live sports or Champions League section. The app itself may be free to install while the event still requires a subscription or television-provider authentication.
Smart TV
Search the television’s app store for the official Paramount+, CBS Sports, TUDN, or DAZN app. Install the app, sign in, and use its live schedule to locate the event. Supported apps and menus vary by television model, operating system, country, and software version.

Paramount+ lists support for Roku, Fire TV, Chromecast, Apple TV, game consoles, smart TVs, and mobile platforms. The normal setup is to install the official app, open it, sign in or activate it using the on-screen instructions, and select the match from the live schedule.
If your television is older or lacks the required apps, an optional Roku Streaming Stick 4K can provide access to supported Paramount+ and CBS Sports apps. The stick is only a way to run the apps: it does not include Champions League rights, replace a subscription, or turn a paid match into a free stream.
Fire TV is another supported device family. The same limitation applies: buying a streaming device improves app access on a compatible television, but it does not change territorial rights or provide a free match.

- The 2025/26 event is no longer live. The season ended on May 30, 2026. A provider may have a replay or highlights without maintaining a live listing.
- You are looking at the wrong country’s rights. Streaming rights are based on viewing territory, not simply the country where an account was created.
- Your plan does not include the event. A service can carry Champions League content without including every match in every plan.
- The event requires TV authentication. A free CBS Sports page may still ask you to sign in with an eligible television provider.
- You have opened a studio or highlights channel. Golazo Network and other digital channels may cover the competition without showing the complete live match.
- The provider changed its listing. Recheck the official event page rather than trusting an old search result or social-media post.
Do not use pirate streams or VPN workarounds
Unofficial IPTV packages, mirror sites, embedded pirate streams, and “free” links that redistribute Champions League matches are risky and unauthorized. They commonly expose viewers to aggressive advertising, malware, fake account forms, poor-quality feeds, and sudden takedowns.
A VPN does not create viewing rights. Changing the apparent location of a connection does not turn an unavailable broadcast into an authorized one, and using a VPN to evade territorial restrictions may conflict with a provider’s terms. The legitimate solution is to check the rights holder for the country where you are watching.

The next competition was already in its qualifying rounds by August 12, 2026. UEFA scheduled the 2026/27 league phase for September 8–10, 2026, with the final scheduled for June 5, 2027, in Madrid. UEFA notes that dates are subject to change.
Do not automatically carry the 2025/26 provider claims into 2026/27. Before the next season’s league phase, verify the new U.S. and international rights through UEFA’s official Where to Watch listing and the provider’s match-by-match schedule. The same rule applies to claims about free full-match coverage: a free broadcast must be confirmed for a specific match and territory.
Quick decision guide
- You wanted the 2025/26 matches live today: that is no longer possible because the competition has concluded. Check official providers for any available replays or highlights.
- You wanted English-language live coverage during the season: Paramount+ was the clearest direct U.S. option identified.
- You wanted Spanish-language coverage: start with TUDN’s schedule, while confirming the exact match and access requirement.
- You wanted free legal coverage: use CBS Sports, Golazo Network, and UEFA platforms for confirmed highlights, studio programming, clips, replays, and selected digital content; do not assume a full match is free.
- You wanted to watch on an older television: a supported Roku or Fire TV device can run the official apps, but hardware does not provide the rights to watch.
- You are following 2026/27: recheck rights and free-match availability before the September league phase begins.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I still watch the 2025/26 Champions League live?
No. The 2025/26 competition concluded with the final on May 30, 2026. A provider may offer replays, highlights, or clips, but there are no remaining live fixtures from that season.

Was every Champions League match free on CBS Sports?
No. CBS Sports and Golazo Network offered free digital coverage such as studio programming, highlights, clips, replays, and selected content. Some live events may require Paramount+ or authentication with an eligible television provider.
Was Paramount+ free for Champions League viewers?
The researched U.S. plan page listed Champions League coverage on the Essential plan, priced at $8.99 per month at that time, and Premium at $13.99 per month. Prices and promotions change, and there is no basis for assuming a free trial unless the current signup page explicitly offers one.
Are TUDN, DAZN, and Paramount+ interchangeable?
No. UEFA listed all three as U.S. partners for the 2025/26 final, but that does not prove that they carried the same matches, languages, replays, or access terms across the entire season. Check the exact provider schedule.

Can a VPN make an unavailable Champions League stream legal?
No. A VPN changes how a connection appears geographically but does not create broadcast rights. It may also conflict with a streaming service’s terms.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: The 2025/26 Champions League is finished, so no legitimate service is still showing its matches live. For U.S. viewers during the season, Paramount+ was the clearest direct English-language option, while UEFA listed TUDN and DAZN as additional official partners for the final. Free legal coverage was mainly highlights, studio shows, replays, selected digital programming, or authenticated access—not a guaranteed free stream of every full match. For 2026/27, verify the country-specific rights and the exact match listing before kickoff.
