The widely shared three-month Spotify Premium Individual deal is no longer a general U.S. offer. Spotify’s direct promotion ended September 22, 2025. At the latest official check on August 11, 2026, the standard U.S. offer was one month free, then $12.99 per month for eligible first-time Premium users.
There are still two potentially useful routes to more than one free month: eligible college students can claim three months through Spotify, and qualifying Disney+ subscribers can find a three-month Spotify trial in the Disney+ Perks dashboard. The offers are account-, eligibility-, and country-dependent, so check the final terms shown before confirming.
The short answer
If you are in the United States and have never tried Spotify Premium, start with Spotify’s own Premium Individual offer: $0 for one month, followed by $12.99 per month. Spotify says you can cancel at any time, but a zero-priced trial ends immediately when canceled, so do not cancel early unless you are willing to lose the remaining trial access.
Students should check the separate Premium Student offer first. At the August 11, 2026 research check, it advertised three months free, then $6.99 per month, with Hulu included subject to eligibility. Spotify’s page also listed August 11, 2026 as the offer’s end date, so this student deal should not be treated as available after that date without a newly verified Spotify page.

- Long Playtime, Fast Charging: Get 10 hours of battery life on a single charge with a case that extends it to 30 hours. If P20i true wireless earbuds are low on power, a quick 10-minute charge will give you 2 hours of playtime.
- Portable On-the-Go Design: soundcore P20i true wireless earbuds and the charging case are compact and lightweight with a lanyard attached. It's small enough to slip in your pocket, or clip on your bag or keys–so you never worry about space.
- AI-Enhanced Clear Calls: 2 built-in mics and an AI algorithm work together to pick up your voice so that you never have to shout over the phone.
Existing Disney+ subscribers have another documented possibility: Disney+ Perks lists a three-month Spotify Premium trial for eligible subscribers, redeemable through March 8, 2028 under the published perk terms. This is not free Disney+; it is a Spotify benefit attached to an eligible Disney+ subscription.
1. Claim Spotify’s current one-month Individual trial
- Open Spotify’s official U.S. Premium page and select the Premium Individual offer.
- Sign in or create a Spotify account.
- Review the checkout screen carefully. The offer should show $0 for one month and the recurring price that applies afterward.
- Add an accepted payment method if Spotify requests one.
- Save the trial end date and the renewal price shown in your confirmation email or account page.
- If you do not want to continue, cancel before the first paid renewal—but remember that Spotify says canceling a zero-priced trial changes the account to Spotify Free immediately.
Who qualifies?
The direct trial is generally limited to people who have never tried Premium before. Spotify’s support guidance says you may be excluded if you have previously:
- Used a Spotify free trial;
- Paid for Premium;
- Belonged to a Premium Family plan; or
- Belonged to a Premium Duo plan.
Eligibility is determined by Spotify when you sign in. If your account does not display the offer, do not assume that repeatedly entering payment details will make it appear.
2. Students: check the three-month Premium Student offer
Eligible U.S. college and university students had a stronger documented option at the research date: three months free, then $6.99 per month. The plan also included Hulu, subject to Spotify’s and Hulu’s eligibility requirements.

Spotify uses SheerID to verify student status. The published requirements include:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must attend an eligible U.S. Title IV-accredited college or university.
- You must not have previously tried Spotify Premium for the promotional offer.
- You must reverify your student status annually.
Premium Student can continue for up to four years, provided you remain eligible and complete the required verification. The three-month introductory offer, however, had an explicit August 11, 2026 end date on Spotify’s page. Because that date is the research cutoff for this guide, verify the live student page before relying on the promotion.

How to check student eligibility
- Open Spotify’s U.S. Premium Student page.
- Choose the student offer and sign in to your Spotify account.
- Complete the SheerID verification using your school information.
- Confirm the introductory price, the post-trial monthly price, and whether Hulu is included for your account.
- Record the renewal date and cancel before renewal if you do not want a paid Student subscription.
3. Disney+ subscribers: look in Disney+ Perks
Disney+ Perks is the strongest currently documented partner route in this research. The official Perks listing offers eligible Disney+ subscribers a three-month Spotify Premium Individual trial. The published terms state that the trial costs $11.99 per month after the three free months and is limited to people who have not tried Premium before.
To check it, sign in to Disney+, open the Perks area, and look for the Spotify benefit. The offer is account-gated, so a generic code or a search result is not a substitute for the perk appearing in your own dashboard. The published redemption deadline is March 8, 2028, although Disney or Spotify can impose additional eligibility conditions.

Disney+ Perks eligibility checklist
- You need an eligible, active Disney+ subscription.
- The Perks dashboard must show the Spotify promotion for your account.
- You generally must not have previously tried Spotify Premium.
- The offer applies to Premium Individual, not necessarily Family, Duo, or Student.
- Check the price after the trial before accepting.
What happened to the other “free Spotify” methods?
Older articles often list Xbox Game Pass, Just Eat, and Microsoft Rewards alongside the expired three-month Spotify promotion. Those offers should not be presented as confirmed current methods.
Xbox Game Pass: historical, not currently confirmed
Xbox previously promoted a six-month Spotify code for new U.S. and U.K. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscribers. The partnership was supported by historical Xbox material and was repeated in the 2025 deal coverage.
However, Xbox’s current U.S. Game Pass deals materials did not list Spotify at the research check. You may still encounter old redemption instructions or an account-specific offer, but there is not enough current official evidence to call this a live general promotion. If you already have Game Pass, check the benefits shown inside your own Xbox account; do not buy a subscription expecting Spotify unless the benefit is displayed before payment.

Just Eat: an unverified historical promotion
The older report described a four-month Spotify trial through Just Eat for people who had not previously used Premium. No current official Just Eat page confirming that offer in the U.S. or U.K. was found for this update.
Treat advertisements, voucher sites, and old articles mentioning the offer as historical leads only. Do not enter payment information or hand over your Spotify credentials to a third-party page claiming to provide the deal unless the promotion is confirmed through an official Just Eat or Spotify channel.
Microsoft Rewards: expired January 21, 2026
Microsoft Rewards previously advertised up to three months of Spotify Premium after qualifying Bing searches on Microsoft Edge over three days within a 14-day period. The official offer page recorded an expiration date of January 21, 2026.
A later Microsoft Q&A response reproduced different terms and a 2028 date, but that answer does not reliably replace the expired offer page. Do not count Microsoft Rewards as a current free-trial route unless a new offer appears in your own Rewards account or on a current official Microsoft offer page.
How to avoid an unwanted Spotify charge
Free trials are easy to forget because Spotify normally requires a payment method and automatically continues into a paid subscription unless you cancel. Use this checklist immediately after starting a trial:
- Save the exact end date. Use the date shown in Spotify’s confirmation email and account settings, not an estimate based on the phrase “one month” or “three months.”
- Record the renewal price. The direct Individual offer was $12.99 per month, while the Disney+ Perks terms listed $11.99 per month after its trial. Prices can vary by offer and can change.
- Check your subscription page. Confirm which plan is active and whether the account says it will renew automatically.
- Set a reminder several days early. This gives you time to resolve a failed cancellation or eligibility issue.
- Cancel through Spotify’s account settings. Do not merely delete the app. Uninstalling Spotify does not cancel billing.
- Keep the cancellation confirmation. Save an email or screenshot showing the resulting plan and date.
Why might there be a small pending charge?
Spotify says it may place a temporary authorization hold on the payment method to verify it. Spotify releases the hold immediately, but a bank may take longer to remove the pending amount. A temporary authorization is different from a completed recurring subscription charge, so check the transaction status with your bank if it does not disappear.

Important cancellation warning
For a trial priced at zero, Spotify says canceling switches the account to Spotify Free immediately and the trial cannot be reactivated. That means canceling on the first day may prevent the charge but also removes the remaining Premium time. If you want to use the full trial, set a reminder and cancel shortly before the displayed renewal date instead.
Which option is best?
| Route | Documented introductory offer | Best for | Main limitation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spotify Premium Individual | One month free, then $12.99/month | First-time Premium users | Previous trials or paid Family/Duo membership can disqualify you |
| Spotify Premium Student | Three months free, then $6.99/month at the research check | Eligible U.S. college students | SheerID verification and an August 11, 2026 listed end date |
| Disney+ Perks | Three months free, then $11.99/month under the published terms | Eligible existing Disney+ subscribers | Account-gated and generally for first-time Premium users |
| Xbox Game Pass | Six months in a historical promotion | Existing subscribers checking account benefits | Not listed in current U.S. Game Pass deals materials |
| Just Eat | Four months in a historical report | Readers who encounter a newly verified official offer | No current official confirmation found |
| Microsoft Rewards | Up to three months in an expired offer | Watchlist only | Official offer ended January 21, 2026 |
Bottom line
The old headline promising three months of Spotify Premium for everyone is stale. In the U.S., the reliably documented direct offer is one month free for eligible first-time Premium users. Students should check Premium Student for the longer introductory period, but verify the offer after its listed August 11, 2026 expiration date. Existing Disney+ subscribers should open Disney+ Perks and see whether the three-month Spotify benefit is available on their account. Xbox, Just Eat, and Microsoft Rewards belong in the expired-or-unconfirmed category, not in a list of guaranteed current trials.

Is Spotify offering three months free to everyone in the U.S.?
No. The general three-month Premium Individual promotion ended September 22, 2025. At the August 11, 2026 check, Spotify’s direct U.S. Individual offer was one month free for eligible first-time Premium users. Three months may still be available through Premium Student or Disney+ Perks, subject to eligibility.
Can I get a Spotify trial if I previously used Premium?
Usually not for these introductory offers. Spotify says previous trials, paid Premium, and membership in Premium Family or Premium Duo can make an account ineligible. The final decision appears when Spotify checks your account.
Does canceling Spotify Premium keep the rest of my free trial?
Not for a zero-priced trial, according to Spotify’s support guidance. Canceling ends the trial immediately and changes the account to Spotify Free.
Is the Spotify offer through Disney+ actually free?
The Spotify trial is free for the promotional period, but Disney+ Perks is attached to an eligible active Disney+ subscription. Disney+ itself is not free because of the Spotify benefit.
