When did Wednesday Season 2, Part 2 come out?

The official trailer’s central warning is that “some secrets refuse to stay buried.” It is best understood as a spoiler-light promotional preview rather than a complete plot summary. The trailer shows Wednesday dealing with the consequences of the first half of the season while trying to protect Enid from a terrifying future she has seen.
Part 2 shifts the emphasis from Wednesday’s psychic visions to her investigative abilities. Her powers appear to be malfunctioning or unavailable, leaving her more dependent on observation, deduction and the help—or interference—of the people around her. At the same time, the trailer suggests that the mystery is tied to several overlapping threats rather than a single isolated enemy.
What does the Part 2 trailer reveal?
Wednesday is trying to save Enid
Enid Sinclair is placed at the emotional center of the trailer. Wednesday sees a vision or prophecy connected to Enid’s death and begins searching for a way to prevent it. The danger also connects to Enid’s developing werewolf identity, giving the friendship between the two roommates a larger supernatural stake.
The trailer does not provide a complete explanation of Enid’s fate, so promotional footage should not be treated as confirmation of every apparent outcome. It does make clear that Wednesday’s investigation is personal: saving Enid becomes one of the main reasons she continues pursuing the hidden forces around Nevermore.
Tyler Galpin remains a serious threat
Tyler returns after the Season 1 revelation that he was the Hyde behind the attacks in Jericho. Part 2 continues his story after his confinement at Willow Hill, while also expanding the importance of his mother, Francoise.
The Tyler storyline is connected to the facility’s secret LOIS program, which becomes one of the season’s major mysteries. The trailer presents Tyler not as a resolved Season 1 villain but as an active force in the new conflict.
Wednesday’s family becomes more involved
Morticia and Gomez Addams have a substantially larger presence in Season 2. Their involvement increases the pressure on Wednesday at Nevermore and brings more of the Addams family’s history into the school mystery. Morticia also takes on a philanthropic role at Nevermore.
Wednesday’s extended family expands further with the arrival of her formidable grandmother, Hester Frump. Hester’s wealth, influence and knowledge of outcast history give the Addams family plot a broader scope than the first season’s mostly school-centered story.

Gwendoline Christie’s Larissa Weems appears in Part 2, but Netflix describes the character’s return as a spiritual one—not an ordinary resurrection. Weems has been pulled back as a spirit to guide Wednesday.
That distinction matters. The trailer and Netflix’s companion explanation establish a supernatural guide role rather than suggesting that Weems has simply resumed her former life as Nevermore’s principal.

Part 2 also features Gaga’s original song “The Dead Dance.” Netflix describes it as a song created specifically for the series.
