Cyber Monday 2025 is over. The event fell on December 1, 2025, so the “final hours” framing and any Cyber Monday prices from that sale should be treated as historical, not as live offers on August 11, 2026. The strongest deals reported at the time included major discounts on LG OLED televisions, large TCL screens and several Sony BRAVIA models.
This retrospective separates the notable 2025 deals from the models still worth monitoring. It does not claim that the original prices, stock or savings remain available today. For readers comparing current alternatives, a broad 55-inch 4K smart TV search is a safer starting point than relying on an expired Cyber Monday listing.
What happened to the “45+ deals” claim?
Cyber Monday coverage in 2025 featured a very large number of television listings across Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and other retailers. However, the available evidence does not establish that one specific Sony, TCL and LG roundup contained 45 unique deals, nor that 45 of those offers remain live now.
Best Buy’s Cyber Monday search pages displayed hundreds of television results, while a separate outdoor-TV page showed 45 results. Those dynamic counts cannot be used as proof of an exact “45+ Sony, TCL and LG deals” total. Unless the original itemized list or an archived copy is audited, the number should be regarded as an unverified marketing figure rather than a reliable current count.
The most notable historical Cyber Monday 2025 TV deals
The following examples were reported during the 2025 shopping period. They are useful for understanding which models and technologies attracted the deepest promotions, but their prices are not current-price claims.

LG B5 OLED: one of the standout value OLEDs
The LG B5 OLED was repeatedly highlighted as one of the event’s strongest television discounts. NBC Select reported a discount of 50% on a 77-inch LG B5, while other deal coverage described the B5 as reaching a historically low price during the promotion.
Tom’s Guide later identified the 48-inch LG B5 at $549 among the lowest Cyber Monday television prices. That figure belongs to the December 2025 sale and should not be presented as the current price. The B5 nevertheless remains a useful model to watch when it appears at closeout pricing: it is an OLED designed for buyers who want the contrast and pixel-level control of OLED without moving to LG’s most expensive series.
TCL’s large-screen and Mini-LED offers
TCL supplied some of the event’s most aggressive large-screen discounts. NBC Select reported a 60% discount on a 98-inch TCL Q55K, making it one of the most dramatic percentage reductions in the roundup.
Other coverage featured the TCL QM5K at a reduced price, while Tom’s Guide reported that the 65-inch TCL QM8K reached $899 during Cyber Monday. The QM5K and QM8K belong to the part of TCL’s range aimed at shoppers who want a large 4K screen and stronger brightness than a conventional entry-level LED television. Exact performance depends on the model, room and picture settings, so a large discount alone is not proof that one is better than every competing TV.
Sony BRAVIA models across several price tiers
Sony’s Cyber Monday coverage was broader than a single flagship discount. Forbes Vetted listed the BRAVIA 8 II, A95L, XR8B, BRAVIA 5, BRAVIA 3 and BRAVIA 7 among the Sony models included in its 2025 deal coverage.
That list spans different display technologies and price levels. The A95L and BRAVIA 8 II represent Sony’s premium OLED-oriented options; the BRAVIA 7 and BRAVIA 5 target buyers looking for more affordable large-screen performance; and the BRAVIA 3 sits lower in the range. The right choice depends less on the Sony name than on whether the buyer prioritizes OLED contrast, Mini-LED brightness, screen size, gaming features or a lower purchase price.
LG’s premium OLED and QNED discounts
Forbes Vetted also documented promotions on LG’s OLED Z3, OLED evo C5, UA77, UA75 and QNED90T. These entries show the breadth of LG’s 2025 promotion, from premium OLED televisions to larger and more conventional LED-based models.

LG’s own U.S. press release confirmed that its 2025 Black Friday and Cyber Monday promotion ran through December 1 and advertised savings of up to 45% on select televisions. LG specifically cited savings of up to $1,400 on a 65-inch OLED evo AI G5. That manufacturer announcement confirms LG’s participation and the advertised maximum savings, but it does not establish that the same promotion continued after December 1 or into 2026.
Which type of TV was the best fit?
The historical deals covered OLED, QD-OLED, Mini-LED, QLED and conventional LED televisions. Comparing them by buyer need is more useful than treating every discount as equivalent.
| Buyer priority | Models or families to monitor | Why they stood out | Important qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| OLED picture quality | LG B5, LG C5, Sony BRAVIA 8 II, Sony A95L | OLED televisions can deliver very deep blacks and strong contrast because individual pixels produce their own light. | Prices, availability and exact panel specifications vary by size and market. Do not assume a historical deal is still active. |
| Premium Sony processing and design | Sony BRAVIA 8 II, A95L, XR8B | These were among the premium Sony models included in 2025 deal coverage. | The A95L and BRAVIA 8 II are different generations and should not be compared only by discount percentage. |
| Large-screen value | TCL Q55K, TCL QM5K, TCL QM8K | TCL’s 98-inch Q55K and 65-inch QM8K were among the most notable historical value examples. | A giant screen requires suitable viewing distance, furniture and delivery access. Room fit matters as much as price. |
| Bright-room performance | TCL Mini-LED models, Sony BRAVIA 7 or BRAVIA 5, LG QNED models | Mini-LED and other LED-based designs can be attractive where high brightness is more important than OLED-level black levels. | “Mini-LED,” “QLED” and “QNED” are technology labels, not guarantees of identical performance. |
| Lower-cost 4K smart TV | Sony BRAVIA 3 and entry-level TCL or LG models | These models were positioned below the premium OLED and flagship Mini-LED tiers. | Check refresh rate, HDMI features, local dimming and operating-system support before buying. |
OLED, Mini-LED, QLED and standard LED: the short version
OLED and QD-OLED
OLED is generally the category to consider when black-level performance, contrast and movie viewing are the main priorities. QD-OLED is a related premium approach that combines OLED pixels with quantum-dot color conversion. Sony’s A95L was among the premium models covered in the historical deal reporting, while LG’s B5 and C5 were conventional OLED families.
The trade-offs include the possibility of image retention with certain long-term usage patterns, lower full-screen brightness than some high-output LED televisions and usually higher prices outside major sale periods. A bright living room or a viewer who leaves news tickers and static game elements on screen for long periods may prefer to compare LED-based alternatives carefully.
Mini-LED
Mini-LED televisions use many small LEDs behind an LCD panel, often with local dimming zones. They can provide high brightness and a more convincing HDR presentation than basic LED sets, particularly in rooms with significant ambient light. TCL’s QM5K and QM8K and Sony’s BRAVIA 7 and BRAVIA 5 were relevant examples in the 2025 deal landscape.
Mini-LED is not identical to OLED. Depending on the television’s dimming system and content, viewers may notice blooming around bright objects on dark backgrounds. The effect varies by model and viewing conditions.
QLED, QNED and conventional LED
QLED and QNED generally refer to LCD televisions using quantum-dot color enhancement or related layered technologies. Conventional LED TVs are also LCD televisions, with LED backlighting. These categories can offer useful value, especially at large sizes, but the label alone does not reveal the panel type, dimming capability, refresh rate or HDR performance.

What to check before buying a leftover or clearance model
- Confirm the exact model number. Retailers sometimes use abbreviated names or exclusive variants. A similar-looking model may have a different panel, processor, stand, refresh rate or port selection.
- Check the size-specific price. A deal on a 48-inch or 55-inch set does not prove that the 65-inch or 77-inch version has the same percentage discount.
- Verify whether the seller is the retailer itself. Marketplace listings may have different return policies, warranties and delivery arrangements.
- Read the return and warranty terms. Clearance inventory can have limited availability, and a damaged large television can be expensive and difficult to return.
- Review HDMI and gaming specifications. If the TV will be used with a current console or gaming PC, check the number of HDMI 2.1 ports, supported refresh rates, variable-refresh-rate support and input-lag information from a reliable product source.
- Measure the room and delivery path. Measure the wall, stand and viewing distance, then check doorways, stairs and elevator dimensions before ordering a 77-inch or 98-inch television.
- Compare against current-generation replacements. A clearance TV can be excellent value, but a newer model may add a longer software-support window, improved brightness, better processing or updated connectivity.
- Use price history cautiously. “Lowest ever” claims require a defined retailer, size and time period. A historical Cyber Monday price is not automatically the best price available in August 2026.
What is still worth watching in 2026?
Current retailer indexing shows a mixture of older carryover families and newer 2026 models. Best Buy pages have included the LG B5 and Sony BRAVIA 8 alongside newer models such as the LG G6, TCL QM8L and Sony BRAVIA 7 II.

It does not prove that a Cyber Monday leftover price, a particular stock level or a retailer-wide promotion remains available. Any live price, savings percentage or “in stock” statement needs to be checked on the product page at publication time.
For shoppers who missed Cyber Monday, the practical strategy is to track the exact size and model family they want rather than searching for a generic “Cyber Monday leftover.” Previous-generation OLED and Mini-LED televisions often become more attractive when a replacement generation reaches retailers, but the discount must be weighed against remaining stock, warranty coverage and feature differences.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the Sony, TCL and LG Cyber Monday 2025 deals still available?
Not as a verified event-wide promotion. Some older models may still appear in retailer clearance or carryover inventory, but the original prices, stock and savings cannot be assumed to continue in August 2026.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Was the 48-inch LG B5 really $549?
Tom’s Guide reported $549 as a historical Cyber Monday 2025 price for the 48-inch LG B5. That is not a verified current price and may have applied only to a particular retailer and time.
Which was the better historical value: TCL or LG?
It depended on the buyer’s priorities. LG’s B5 was a notable OLED value, while TCL’s Q55K, QM5K and QM8K offered compelling large-screen or Mini-LED-oriented value. Screen size, room brightness, viewing habits and gaming requirements matter more than the headline discount alone.
Should I buy an older TV model at clearance?
An older model can be worthwhile if the price is substantially lower and it still meets your needs for brightness, ports, gaming features and software support. Confirm the exact model, seller, warranty, return policy and size-specific price before ordering.
The Bottom Line
The most credible takeaway from Cyber Monday 2025 is not that 45-plus deals are still waiting to be claimed. It is that LG’s B5 and other OLEDs, TCL’s large-screen and Mini-LED models, and several Sony BRAVIA televisions received substantial historical promotions. In 2026, compare the exact model and size, verify the live listing and return terms, and treat every old Cyber Monday price as a benchmark—not a promise.
