If you want one dependable adult Christmas movie tonight, start with Bad Santa (2003). It is the clearest anti-holiday classic: an alcoholic conman takes a mall-Santa job so he can rob stores on Christmas Eve. For different moods, choose The Ref (1994) for vicious family comedy, Die Hard (1988) for Christmas-adjacent action, Violent Night (2022) for bloody Santa mayhem, or Black Christmas (1974) for serious holiday horror.

This is a U.S. streaming guide, with availability based on the latest public listings reviewed for August 9, 2026. The underlying JustWatch and service snapshots were generally dated June 21 through July 29, 2026, so catalogs may change before you press play. Subscription, free-with-ads, channel, and rent/buy options are separated below.

Quick answer: the five best places to start

Movie Best for U.S. MPA rating Latest listed access Christmas role
Bad Santa (2003) Best overall adult Christmas comedy R Max; rent/buy Christmas-central
The Ref (1994) Best dysfunctional-family comedy R Hoopla; rent/buy Christmas-central
Die Hard (1988) Best action movie, if you count it R Prime Video, AMC+, Philo, related listings Christmas-adjacent
Violent Night (2022) Best violent Santa movie R Netflix, including an ad-supported tier listing; YouTube TV Christmas-central
Black Christmas (1974) Best serious Christmas horror R Prime Video, Peacock, Shudder, Tubi, and related listings Christmas-setting

My overall recommendation is Bad Santa. It is unmistakably a Christmas movie, genuinely aimed at adults, and easier to recommend across a group than a film built around gore or child peril. If the group wants something less sentimental but more verbally sharp, choose The Ref.

What counts as an R-rated Christmas movie?

This list uses the U.S. MPA classification. An R rating means restricted viewing because a film contains adult material; the MPA’s examples include strong language, adult activity, intense or persistent violence, sexually oriented nudity, drug abuse, or other mature elements. See the MPA’s definition of R and its ratings guide.

#1 Best Overall
The Bridge Collection Funny Binge TV Watcher Christmas Ornament
  • FUNNY TV ORNAMENT – Features “Professional Binge Watcher” design with remote and popcorn details
  • MADE FOR STREAMING FANS – Includes a dangling screen with the phrase “Are You Still Watching?”
  • HOLIDAY DECORATION FOR TV LOVERS – A humorous ornament perfect for binge-watching addicts
  • GREAT GIFT IDEA – Makes a fun and quirky gift for movie fans and streaming service subscribers
  • COMPACT SIZE – Measures 3.5" tall and made of durable resin for long-lasting holiday use

R does not automatically mean sexually explicit. In this group, the rating may come mainly from profanity and hostile adult relationships, as in The Ref; drug use and sexual material, as in The Night Before; or bloody violence, as in Violent Night and Black Christmas. Ratings descriptors are useful because they identify the specific material behind a classification; the MPA explains its common descriptors here.

Christmas relevance is also not all-or-nothing:

  • Christmas-central: Christmas Eve, Santa, a holiday party, or a family celebration drives the plot. Moving the story to another time of year would substantially change it.
  • Christmas-setting: the holiday creates the atmosphere, isolation, or social pressure, but the film is primarily a horror or thriller.
  • Christmas-adjacent: Christmas is prominent and meaningful, but the story could plausibly be moved to another celebration or season.

The categories matter most for Die Hard, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and The Ice Harvest. The long-running Die Hard debate has arguments on both sides, so this guide labels it Christmas-adjacent rather than presenting the classification as settled fact.

The ranked list

The ranking is editorial rather than an objective measurement. It balances film quality, Christmas relevance, adult appeal, rewatchability, and the practical advantage of being included with a subscription or available free with ads. Availability is weighted, but it does not turn a weaker film into a better one.

1. Bad Santa (2003) — best overall

U.S. rating: R. Christmas status: Christmas-central. Where the latest U.S. listing places it: Max, with rental and purchase options also listed. Check the current JustWatch listing.

Billy Bob Thornton plays Willie, a depressed, alcoholic conman who poses as a mall Santa with the intention of robbing the stores after closing. The film’s joke is not simply that Santa is corrupt; it is that the commercial Christmas machine is perfectly suited to a criminal who understands how badly everyone wants to believe in a holiday story.

Bad Santa is the best all-around choice because it has a real Christmas structure beneath the profanity, drinking, sexual content, emotional abuse, and criminal behavior. It is cynical without being empty, and its unlikely emotional core gives it more staying power than a disposable gross-out comedy. The film has a 78% Tomatometer score and a 75% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Choose it if: you want an unmistakably Christmas movie that rejects sentimental holiday behavior without rejecting character development. Skip it if: alcoholism, sexual humor, or a deliberately unpleasant protagonist will make the evening miserable.

2. The Ref (1994) — best black comedy about family dysfunction

U.S. rating: R. Christmas status: Christmas-central. Where the latest U.S. listing places it: free through Hoopla, with rental and purchase options also listed. Check the current listing.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

A burglar takes a bickering Connecticut couple hostage on Christmas Eve and quickly discovers that their marital hostility is more dangerous than he is. Rather than using Christmas as decorative wallpaper, the film turns the holiday into a pressure cooker: relatives arrive, old grievances surface, and everyone is expected to perform family harmony while falling apart.

This is the sharpest recommendation for adults who prefer dialogue and character conflict to broad physical comedy. Its R rating is driven largely by intense profanity, marital hostility, family dysfunction, crime, and references to abuse. The current listing gives it a 73% Tomatometer score. Hoopla access can depend on the participating library or account available to the viewer, so confirm the play option before gathering the family.

Choose it if: your group likes caustic writing and uncomfortable family arguments. Skip it if: you want warmth, romance, or a conventional Santa story.

3. Die Hard (1988) — best Christmas-adjacent action movie

U.S. rating: R. Christmas status: Christmas-adjacent. Where the latest U.S. listing places it: Prime Video, AMC+, Philo, and related channel listings. Check the current listing and plan details.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

John McClane arrives in Los Angeles for a company Christmas party and spends the night trying to rescue hostages from terrorists, reconnect with his estranged wife, and survive one of the most elaborate workplace disasters in movie history. Christmas decorations, carols, gifts, family reconciliation, the holiday party, and the timing of Christmas Eve are woven into the action rather than added as an afterthought.

It remains the safest choice for a mixed group that wants action rather than a holiday comedy. Expect gun violence, deaths, terrorism, hostage situations, and pervasive profanity. The film has a 94% Tomatometer score and an 8.2 IMDb listing, as reflected by the cited Rotten Tomatoes and listing information.

Choose it if: you want a great action film with substantial Christmas atmosphere. Skip it if: the holiday movie must center on Santa, presents, or a family celebration.

4. Violent Night (2022) — best bloody Santa fantasy

U.S. rating: R. Christmas status: Christmas-central. Where the latest U.S. listing places it: Netflix, including Netflix’s ad-supported tier listing, and YouTube TV. Check the current listing.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

When a wealthy family is taken hostage on Christmas Eve, the real Santa happens to be on the property—and this Santa responds with brutal action-hero violence. The premise is knowingly ridiculous, but the movie works because it commits to both halves of the idea: a warm, mythic Santa figure and a hard, bloody siege movie.

The R rating is for strong bloody violence, torture-like set pieces, language, and sexual references. It has a 74% Tomatometer score and an 88% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. This is the strongest choice for viewers who want Christmas iconography without a family-friendly tone.

Choose it if: you want Santa to fight like an action star. Skip it if: graphic violence, deaths, or peril involving a family will undercut the fun.

5. Black Christmas (1974) — best serious Christmas horror

U.S. rating: R. Christmas status: Christmas-setting. Where the latest U.S. listing places it: Prime Video, Peacock, Shudder, Tubi, and other free or channel listings. Check the current listing.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Bob Clark’s influential sorority-house slasher uses Christmas decorations, carols, parties, and holiday isolation to make an ordinary celebration feel unsafe. The film is less interested in a killer-Santa gimmick than in the frightening vulnerability of people who should be enjoying a familiar home-like environment.

Content warnings include stalking, obscene phone calls, murder, sexual threat, and a disturbing atmosphere. With a 73% Tomatometer score and a 7.1 IMDb listing, it is the strongest choice here for viewers who want genuine suspense rather than a horror-comedy. Its free Tubi listing is ad-supported; Peacock, Shudder, and similar entries may be subscription or channel options.

Choose it if: you want Christmas horror that remains unsettling after the novelty wears off. Skip it if: you are looking for cheerful camp or dislike stalking and sexual threat.

6. Better Watch Out (2017) — best twisty Christmas thriller

U.S. rating: R. Christmas status: Christmas-setting. Where the latest U.S. listing places it: Prime Video, Peacock, Tubi, Roku Channel, Xumo Play, and other listings. Check the current listing.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

What initially looks like a home-invasion story about a babysitter protecting a child changes direction in a way that is best experienced with as little advance information as possible. Christmas lights and an apparently comfortable suburban house make the film’s shift in tone more disturbing.

Content warnings include psychological manipulation, violence, sexual threat, child endangerment, and home invasion. Peacock’s official listing confirms the R rating and Christmas setting. The free options listed by JustWatch are ad-supported, while other services may require a subscription or channel access.

Choose it if: your group enjoys nasty twists and wants to discuss the movie afterward. Skip it if: child peril or sexualized manipulation is a hard limit.

7. The Night Before (2015) — best raunchy Christmas buddy comedy

U.S. rating: R. Christmas status: Christmas-central. Where the latest U.S. listing places it: Netflix and free with ads on Xumo Play. Check the current listing.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Three lifelong friends try to find New York’s elusive Christmas party on one last chaotic Christmas Eve before adulthood changes their friendship. The plot supplies drugs, celebrity encounters, bad decisions, and crude jokes, but the film’s more durable subject is the anxiety of realizing that a beloved tradition cannot remain frozen in time.

The rating is for graphic nudity, drug use, pervasive language, and strong sexual content. It has a 69% Tomatometer score and a 61% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Netflix’s title page is the best place to confirm whether it is included in the plan you use.

Choose it if: you want a raunchy group comedy with a little genuine sentiment. Skip it if: you want a clean, low-key holiday movie or dislike drug and sexual humor.

8. Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale (2010) — best strange international holiday horror

U.S. rating: R. Christmas status: Christmas-central. Where the latest U.S. listing places it: Tubi, Kanopy, Hoopla, and several specialty or channel services. Check the current listing.

A Finnish excavation uncovers a frightening version of Santa mythology. The movie begins as an offbeat supernatural mystery and develops into a darkly funny Christmas adventure involving children, folklore, and a much less comforting interpretation of what may live beneath the snow.

Expect child peril, disturbing Santa imagery, horror violence, and animal-related danger. Its 89% Tomatometer score is the highest among the main recommendations with a cited critics’ score, although its 6.6 IMDb listing suggests a more mixed audience response. That difference is useful context: it is admired as an unusual cult film, but it is not the safest choice for viewers expecting a conventional comedy.

Choose it if: you want something Finnish, folkloric, and unlike the usual Hollywood Christmas list. Skip it if: you want a familiar Santa or a straightforward horror formula.

9. Anna and the Apocalypse (2018) — best Christmas musical horror movie

U.S. rating: R. Christmas status: Christmas-central. Where the latest U.S. listing places it: Prime Video, AMC+/Shudder channel listings, and Roku Channel with ads. Check the current listing.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

A zombie outbreak hits a town during the Christmas season, forcing students to sing, dance, fight, grieve, and try to survive. The combination sounds like a novelty, but the movie gives its musical numbers enough sincerity to balance the comedy and gore.

Content warnings include zombie gore, deaths, grief, and language, along with abrupt shifts between musical comedy and emotional drama. Its Tomatometer score is 77%. The Roku Channel listing is free with ads; AMC+ and Shudder entries may be standalone subscriptions or channel add-ons, depending on how you access them.

Choose it if: you want a film that can be funny, bloody, musical, and unexpectedly sad in the same evening. Skip it if: the combination of singing and zombie violence sounds more exhausting than entertaining.

10. Office Christmas Party (2016) — best workplace-party farce

U.S. rating: R. Christmas status: Christmas-central. Where the latest U.S. listing places it: Paramount+, Paramount+ channel listings, fuboTV, and YouTube TV. Check the current listing.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

When an office branch throws an extravagant Christmas party to save jobs and impress a potential client, the event predictably becomes a cascade of drugs, nudity, reckless behavior, and property damage. It is a broad ensemble farce rather than a subtle holiday satire.

The R rating covers drug use, graphic nudity, crude sexual material, and language. Critics were not enthusiastic—the film has a 41% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes—so it is best presented honestly as a knowingly lowbrow party-comedy option, not as a critical favorite.

Choose it if: your group wants a loud, disposable office-party comedy. Skip it if: you prefer the sharper writing of The Ref or the emotional balance of The Night Before.

11. A Bad Moms Christmas (2017) — best adult comedy about holiday family pressure

U.S. rating: R. Christmas status: Christmas-central. Where the latest U.S. listing places it: Paramount+, fuboTV, YouTube TV, and related channel listings. Check the current listing.

The sequel moves its focus to Christmas and to the mothers of the original mothers. Overworked women try to create a tolerable holiday while dealing with their own demanding, intrusive, or emotionally complicated parents.

Rank #4
Indiana Jones 4-Movie Collection
  • INDIANA JONES: 4-Movie Collection [4K UHD]

Expect profanity, sexual humor, drinking, and family conflict. It has a 32% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes, so its appeal is primarily mood-based: it is for viewers who want broad adult ensemble comedy about the pressure to make Christmas perfect.

Choose it if: your group wants a recognizable holiday family scenario with an adult-comedy filter. Skip it if: you are looking for a more inventive or critically acclaimed choice.

12. Fatman (2020) — best grim Santa revision

U.S. rating: R. Christmas status: Christmas-central. Where the latest U.S. listing places it: Paramount+ Essential, Paramount+ channel listings, fuboTV, YouTube TV, and Fawesome as a free option. Check the current listing.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

A neglected child receives coal and hires a hitman to kill Santa. The result is a bleak, violent fantasy about a worn-down Kris Kringle who has become less a magical icon than a struggling craftsman trying to keep a failing operation alive.

Content warnings include gun violence, child neglect, an assassination plot, and dark Santa imagery. Fatman is not a cheerful alternative to traditional Christmas movies; it is a grim genre experiment for viewers who want their holiday mythology stripped of comfort.

Choose it if: you want an unconventional, violent Santa story with a bleak mood. Skip it if: you want comedy, warmth, or a traditionally benevolent Christmas fantasy.

13. Bad Santa 2 (2016) — for a Bad Santa double feature

U.S. rating: R. Christmas status: Christmas-central. Where the latest U.S. listing places it: Max, with rental and purchase options also listed. Check the current listing.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Billy Bob Thornton returns as Willie, this time joined by Kathy Bates as his mother. It supplies more of the original’s profanity, drinking, sexual humor, criminal behavior, and deliberately abrasive holiday attitude, but it is not regarded as a comparably strong film.

The sequel has a 23% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes. That does not make it useless: it is a reasonable follow-up for viewers who specifically want more Willie, but the original should be the first choice and the sequel should not displace stronger films on a one-movie shortlist.

Choose it if: you are committed to completing a Bad Santa double feature. Skip it if: you have not yet seen the original.

Choose by mood

If you want… Start with… Why
Crude, cynical comedy Bad Santa The strongest combination of anti-Christmas humor, story, and rewatchability.
Sharper family dysfunction The Ref A Christmas Eve hostage situation becomes a battle of marital and family grievances.
A raunchy group comedy The Night Before Drugs, sex, friendship anxiety, and a frantic Christmas Eve quest.
Action Die Hard A classic hostage thriller with unusually deep Christmas integration.
Santa violence Violent Night Santa turns a holiday siege into a bloody action showcase.
Serious horror Black Christmas (1974) Stalking, isolation, and murder undercut the comfort of Christmas.
A twist Better Watch Out Its premise changes direction; avoid spoilers before watching.
A musical Anna and the Apocalypse Zombies, grief, comedy, and original musical numbers.
Something unusual Rare Exports Finnish folklore gives Santa mythology a disturbing new shape.
A bleak Santa fantasy Fatman A hitman, a neglected child, and a worn-down Santa create a grim revision.
Workplace chaos Office Christmas Party A deliberately lowbrow office celebration spirals out of control.

Christmas-adjacent R-rated movies

Some movies belong in an adult Christmas conversation without being fully Christmas-centered. They are listed separately so the core recommendations do not quietly change the definition.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • Die Hard (1988): the essential Christmas-adjacent action choice. The Christmas Eve party, decorations, carols, gifts, and family-reconciliation thread are too prominent to dismiss, even though the main plot is a hostage crisis.
  • The Ice Harvest (2005): an R-rated crime comedy set on Christmas Eve. The latest U.S. listing shows rental and purchase rather than subscription streaming, with no free streaming option cited.
  • Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005): an R-rated Christmas-adjacent crime comedy currently listed for rental and purchase. Its holiday atmosphere is meaningful, but the film is principally a fast-talking mystery and noir-flavored comedy.

These are good choices when the reader wants snow, decorations, Christmas parties, or holiday timing without requiring the story to be about Santa or a family Christmas.

R-rated but currently rent-or-buy-only options

Rental and purchase availability is still useful, but it is not the same as being included with a streaming subscription. In the latest U.S. snapshots, these titles were primarily transactional:

Movie U.S. rating and Christmas role Latest access note
A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas (2011) R; Christmas-central; 69% Tomatometer Rental and purchase listings rather than a verified subscription option.
The Ice Harvest (2005) R; Christmas-adjacent crime comedy Rental and purchase only in the cited snapshot; no free option shown.
Love Actually (2003) R; unmistakably Christmas-centered Rent/buy listing rather than subscription streaming in the cited U.S. snapshot.
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005) R; Christmas-adjacent crime comedy Rental and purchase listing in the cited snapshot.

For the most direct free or subscription options, the stronger bets from the current shortlist are The Night Before, Violent Night, Better Watch Out, Black Christmas, Rare Exports, Anna and the Apocalypse, and The Ref through Hoopla. Free services such as Tubi, Roku Channel, Xumo Play, and Fawesome generally mean ad-supported viewing; Kanopy and Hoopla may depend on library access.

Do not confuse these versions

Christmas movie catalogs are especially prone to duplicate titles. Always check the year and exact film before starting playback.

Title to verify What can go wrong
Black Christmas (1974) Bob Clark’s influential original is distinct from the 2006 remake and the 2019 film. The 1974 version is the main recommendation here; the 2006 remake is also R but was primarily listed for rent or purchase and received much weaker critical reception in the cited research.
Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984) The original, the 2012 reimagining, and the 2025 remake are different films. Search results can resolve to the 2025 movie because it shares the title. Do not use an undated listing; verify the year and rating manually. The cited sources include a JustWatch result, a Netflix page identifying the older film, and a separate Moviefone listing.
Bad Santa (2003) There are R-rated and unrated cuts. If a service offers more than one version, identify which cut is available; an unrated version should not automatically be described as carrying the theatrical film’s MPA classification. IMDb’s title information notes the alternate versions.

One adult holiday horror title that needs a rating caveat

Christmas Bloody Christmas (2022)

This is a strong adult holiday-horror recommendation: a murderous robotic Santa turns a Christmas Eve into a violent survival story. It is listed in the U.S. on Netflix, AMC+, and Shudder-related services by JustWatch, and it appears in Rotten Tomatoes’ holiday-horror coverage.

It is not included in the main R-rated ranking because the public sources checked do not clearly establish a U.S. MPA R classification. That does not make it family-friendly; it means the rating should be independently verified rather than inferred from its adult tone, violence, or a streamer’s TV-MA-style label.

If an R rating is not essential

“Adult Christmas movie” and “R-rated Christmas movie” are not identical categories. A film can be mature because of its relationships, cynicism, family conflict, or emotional themes without receiving an R classification. Conversely, an R-rated movie may be aimed mainly at viewers who want crude humor or violence.

Keep these popular titles out of the main list if the promise is specifically U.S. MPA-rated R:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • Krampus — PG-13
  • Scrooged — PG-13
  • National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation — PG-13
  • Gremlins — PG
  • The Holiday — PG-13
  • Four Christmases — PG-13

They may be excellent choices for an adult audience, but including them in an R-rated guide would blur the exact promise the reader came for.

How to check the streaming claim before watching

  1. Confirm the year. This is essential for both Black Christmas and Silent Night, Deadly Night.
  2. Read the access label. Look for “included with subscription,” “free with ads,” or a library-service option. A Prime Video or Apple TV listing can also mean rent or buy.
  3. Check whether a channel add-on is required. AMC+, Shudder, Paramount+, and similar names may appear as standalone services or as premium channels inside another app.
  4. Check the plan. Some listings are limited to a particular tier, such as Paramount+ Essential or Netflix’s ad-supported plan.
  5. Verify the cut. Bad Santa may appear in R-rated or unrated form.
  6. Review the content warning. R-rated does not tell you whether the problem is profanity, sex, drug use, stalking, child peril, or graphic violence.

Streaming rights can change without notice. The service names above are a snapshot of U.S. listings, not a guarantee that every title will remain available through the same plan.

Methodology and availability note

This guide covers the United States only. The “R” designation refers to the U.S. MPA rating, not a foreign age classification, IMDb parental-guide label, or a platform’s TV-MA equivalent. “Subscription” means the title was listed as included with a paid service; “free with ads” means no paid movie subscription was shown but advertising is expected; “channel/add-on” means access may require a premium channel inside another service; and “rent/buy” is a separate digital transaction.

The editorial ranking considers five factors: film quality and audience reception (30%), Christmas relevance (25%), adult appeal (20%), rewatchability (15%), and current accessibility (10%). The percentages explain the order but do not make it an objective score. A film such as Office Christmas Party, with a 41% Tomatometer score, can still be the right choice for someone specifically seeking broad workplace-party chaos; it simply is not presented as one of the best-reviewed films here.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Last checked: August 9, 2026. Because many public availability snapshots were collected between June 21 and July 29, verify the listing at the time of viewing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best R-rated Christmas movie to watch tonight?

Bad Santa (2003) is the safest overall recommendation: it is unmistakably Christmas-centered, genuinely adult, funny, and less dependent on a single genre than the horror or action choices. Choose The Ref if you prefer sharper family dysfunction, or Die Hard if you want action.

Is Die Hard really a Christmas movie?

It is best labeled Christmas-adjacent rather than treated as an objective yes-or-no case. The story takes place on Christmas Eve during a company holiday party, and Christmas decorations, music, gifts, and family reconciliation are important recurring elements. Its main genre, however, is action hostage thriller.

What is the bloodiest R-rated Christmas movie on this list?

Violent Night is the clearest choice for bloody Santa action, while Black Christmas (1974) is the better choice for serious stalking and slasher horror. Anna and the Apocalypse adds zombie gore, but its tone also includes musical comedy and grief.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Does R-rated mean a Christmas movie is sexually explicit?

No. The U.S. MPA rating can result from language, strong violence, drug abuse, sexual content, nudity, or other mature material. For example, Black Christmas is primarily a violent and disturbing horror film, while The Ref is chiefly known for profanity and hostile adult relationships.

The Bottom Line

For one movie, watch Bad Santa (2003). It is the best balance of adult comedy, Christmas relevance, quality, and rewatchability. For a free option, check Black Christmas (1974), Better Watch Out, Rare Exports, or Anna and the Apocalypse on the ad-supported or library services listed for your account. Verify the U.S. listing before viewing because streaming rights and plan requirements change.
