Those three new actors should not be treated as ordinary cameos. Bad Bunny has a recurring supporting role as Happy’s caddie, Safdie plays the principal villain and Osment is Happy’s main new golfing rival. The film’s true cameo parade includes the professional golfers, athletes, musicians, podcasters, broadcasters and familiar Sandler collaborators listed below.
Returning characters from the original film
The sequel reconnects Happy with several recognizable faces from the 1996 movie, although some characters return in very different circumstances.

The major new characters
Bad Bunny as Oscar Mejías
Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, better known as Bad Bunny, plays Oscar Mejías. Oscar starts as a busboy and becomes Happy’s caddie, giving Bad Bunny a substantial story role rather than a quick celebrity walk-on. He effectively fills the caddie position that Otto occupied in the original film, though Oscar is a different character.

Benny Safdie as Frank Manatee
Benny Safdie plays Frank Manatee, the sequel’s main villain and the creator of the stunt-driven Maxi Golf league. Manatee’s flashy, dangerous version of golf is the central threat to Happy’s attempt to return to the sport.
Haley Joel Osment as Billy Jenkins
Haley Joel Osment plays Billy Jenkins, a surgically enhanced Maxi Golf star. Billy becomes Happy’s principal new golfing rival as the traditional game collides with Manatee’s spectacle-oriented competition.
Lavell Crawford as Slim Peterson
Lavell Crawford plays Slim Peterson, the son of Happy’s late mentor, Chubbs Peterson. Slim provides advice to Happy and the other golfers, making the role a meaningful connection to the original movie’s golf mythology.

Where the golfers appear
Several of the most recognizable names appear at the Tour Champions Dinner: Fred Couples, Nick Faldo, Jack Nicklaus, Corey Pavin, Lee Trevino, Jordan Spieth, Xander Schauffele, Rickie Fowler, Keegan Bradley and Collin Morikawa.
The Tour Championship competition includes Tony Finau, Will Zalatoris, Justin Thomas, Bubba Watson, Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, Rory McIlroy and Brooks Koepka. Other golfers, including Nelly Korda, Nancy Lopez, Paige Spiranac, Charley Hull and the rest of the credited roster, appear in golf-course or tournament sequences.
Netflix’s cast guide is the primary source for the official golfer roster, while TIME’s cameo breakdown is particularly useful for identifying the dinner and tournament clusters. Because editorial lists do not all use the same definition of cameo, Sergio García and Hunter Mahan should be credited with a source qualification rather than silently added to Netflix’s list.

- Verne Lundquist returns as himself as a sportscaster and announcer, continuing his connection to the original film.
- Jack Giarraputo plays Jack Beard, Lundquist’s fictional announcing partner. Giarraputo is also one of the film’s producers.
- Dan Patrick plays Pat Daniels, the host of the fictional sports program Sports Hole with Pat Daniels.
- Stephen A. Smith appears as himself, commenting on Happy’s tournament performance.
- Chris Berman appears in a sports-broadcasting role.
- Jim Gray appears as himself in the sports-media coverage.
- Ken Jennings appears as the Jeopardy! host in the sequence in which Happy is the answer.
These appearances are part of the film’s running joke that Happy’s comeback has become a national sports-media event. They are distinct from the professional golfers, who generally appear as tournament participants or guests.

Musicians, podcasters and pop-culture cameos
One of the sequel’s easiest traps is assuming every musician is playing himself. Several are not.

The film also brings back a large group of Adam Sandler collaborators and familiar comedy performers. These are the faces many viewers recognize without immediately remembering where they have seen them before.

Not every familiar face connected to the original movie filmed new scenes for Happy Gilmore 2. The completed credits identify archive-footage appearances involving Bob Barker, Frances Bay, Richard Kiel, Carl Weathers, Will Sasso and Dee Jay Jackson. Archive footage should not be counted as a new performance in the sequel.

The film also pays tribute to performers from the original who had died, including Carl Weathers, Richard Kiel and Joe Flaherty. Those tributes take the form of character references, visual callbacks and story connections. Eminem’s Donald Jr., for example, connects the new film to Joe Flaherty’s Donald without suggesting that Flaherty appears in newly filmed material. No. Allen Covert does not return as Otto in the finished sequel. Otto was Happy’s memorable caddie in the 1996 film, and some broad cast databases have caused confusion by listing him. Post-release reporting specifically notes that Otto is absent; Oscar Mejías, played by Bad Bunny, takes on the sequel’s caddie function as a new character.

That is a useful indication of the movie’s unusually crowded guest roster, but it is not an official Netflix or studio-certified count. A strict count of celebrity cameos would produce one number; a broader count including golfers, caddies, family members, minor credited roles, podcast guests, archive footage and background spectators would produce another.
For that reason, “every cameo” in this guide means every publicly identifiable named celebrity, athlete, golfer, musician, podcaster, broadcaster and notable family or friend appearance documented in the supplied cast sources. Rumors and commonly misreported appearances
Is Taylor Swift in the movie?
There is no verified Taylor Swift appearance in the finished film. Public speculation connected Swift to the sequel because of her relationship with Travis Kelce and earlier comments associated with Adam Sandler, but she is not listed in Netflix’s official cast guide or the completed cast credits.
Is Travis Kelce a waiter or a hotel employee?

It is Jon Lovitz. One cameo article appears to identify him as Jon Lovett, but the completed character credit and other coverage list the comedian and actor Jon Lovitz as the Dapper Man at the driving range.
