In Japan, the episode aired on television on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 12:00 a.m. JST. Japanese schedules may display that same broadcast as Saturday, March 22, at 24:00.

English dub release date
The English dub followed the subtitled release rather than launching simultaneously. Crunchyroll began releasing the Season 2 English dub on January 18, 2025, with Episode 12 scheduled for April 5, 2025.
Viewers looking for the English version should therefore select the English audio track after opening the episode and check the listed dub date. The March 22 date applies to the subtitled simulcast.

Episode numbering explained
There are two numbers associated with this installment:
- Season 2, Episode 12: the season-specific number.
- Episode 24: the overall series number used by Crunchyroll and in episode coverage.
These are not separate episodes. Both labels refer to the same Season 2 finale, “Are You the King of Humans.”

Was there still a countdown?
No. A countdown timer was relevant before the March 22, 2025 release. It is no longer appropriate for a current page: the release date has passed and the episode is now a completed release. The useful information to retain is the original timestamp—9:30 a.m. PDT / 12:30 p.m. EDT—and the distinction between the subtitled stream and the April 5 English dub.
