At first glance, this temple looks like any other. But it is quite different. This is not temple for humans. It is a temple for rats. Located in India, this temple houses more than 15,000 rats inside.
Rats are medium-sized and long-tailed rodents. Some of them are endangered due to habitat loss or competition with other rats.

They prefer arboreal habitats. They usually live in palm, cypress trees, and elevated areas of human homes. Roof rats can be found living in attics, rafters, and on roofs.
Fun fact: rats take care of the injured members of their group. And they are quite social animals. Without companionship, they become lonely and depressed.
