USA – Trump and the midterms

The political climate in America has turned toxic in the last two years. Much of this can be attributed to the administration of President Trump. The US 2018 midterm elections had arrived, providing the perfect opportunity to take stock of the performance of the controversial president. A new documentary, brought to you by Ernst Kernmayer, explores this increasingly divisive subject.

Kernmayer travels across America to meet with different demographics, including factory workers, farmers, and those who feel compelled to speak out against the current administration. Each group’s current standing is analyzed in light of their significant contribution to Trump’s election victory. The documentary aims to scrutinize whether the President’s earlier promises have been fulfilled or ignored. The timing of this intense political discussion coincides with the recent spate of shootings targeting religious minorities, which has shattered the nation’s already fragile psyche. This crucial question demands answers, leaving the nation polarized and deeply conflicted.
