Simon Reeve presents a travel documentary as he embarks on a journey along the Tropic of Capricorn, the line of latitude that runs through southern Africa, Australia and South America.

In the four parts Tropic of Capricorn BBC2 series, issued in 2008, Simon went to the southern border of the tropics worldwide. While the film Tropic of Capricorn, Simon traveled through Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, Mozambique, Madagascar, Western Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil
