Emmanuel Ruben, a French writer and bicycle enthusiast, has embarked on an incredible journey to trace the path of Europe’s longest river, the Danube. Riding his bike from west to east, he is delving into issues relevant to #Europe and #migration – topics which he reflects on during his travels.
His thrilling adventure is being documented in the feature-length documentary ‘#Going with the Flow’, where viewers can explore Ruben’s route along the Danube as he comes across diverse people and cultures along the way. The documentary also features commentary from Ruben himself on his thoughts about Europe and migration as he cycles through rural towns and cities.
The film offers a compelling insight into current regional tensions between East and West as well as a unique perspective on immigration issues in Europe that are often overlooked or underrepresented in mainstream media coverage. It shows how cultural divides can be bridged through simple human connections such as those experienced when travelling with local communities overland by bicycle.
It is an inspiring story of a man who takes it upon himself to make a difference – one pedal stroke at a time. So if you’re looking for something different from your usual streaming content, then ‘#Going With The Flow’ is definitely worth watching!
