Our body needs food for fuel and energy. What we eat translates into energy. But if you know anything about nutrition, there are good foods, and there are bad foods.

And when it comes to processed foods, they mostly fall into the bad foods group. Why is processed food so popular?

Well, in the past 50 years, technological advances in food production led to overabundance of inexpensive food. That is how processed foods were born. They offer high energy boost for cheap, but it is not much of quality energy.

This documentary focuses on the thoughts of an MD in nutrition, talking about the most challenging public health crises of our generation, childhood obesity.

Watch the documentary, and you might think differently about processed foods afterward.
