Giant pandas, one of the world’s most recognizable and beloved animals, were once on the brink of extinction. However, due to an extraordinary conservation project located at the Chengdu Research Base in China, these magnificent creatures are slowly making a comeback. This ambitious project has set out to breed 300 pandas and then reintroduce them back into their native habitats.
The Chengdu Research Base is dedicated to giving these endangered species a fighting chance for survival. Their team of experts use cutting-edge science and 24/7 care to nurture these precious pandas. Through this ongoing effort over the past two years, they have gradually been getting closer to their goal of reaching 300 pandas bred in captivity before they can be released back into the wild.
