Last chance for drug addicts in the Philippines

A documentary film delves into the lives of drug addicts in the Philippines, who are under siege by not just the lethal effects of addiction, but also by extrajudicial death squads, covertly supported by President Rodrigo Duterte. With regular shooting deaths of addicts and dealers on the streets, the war against drugs is ruthless and unforgiving.

Against this backdrop, Renato, a fearless Filipino, founded a rehab program in Manila, adopting unconventional methods of using prayer and dancing to help drug addicts cope with their addiction. Personal attention to each drug addict under his care is his priority, and he is committed to doing everything to prevent any of them from risking their lives.
