The polygamist community of Bountiful, British Columbia, has once again come under the radar of the RCMP, with law enforcement looking into the legality of plural marriages in this religious commune. Winston Blackmore, leader of Canada’s most famous polygamist community, invites us to discover what life is really like inside Bountiful as he offers a unique perspective into his faith and community.
Since the early 90s, investigations have been carried out by the RCMP in regard to these controversial marriage practices but so far only two people have been charged and no one has been convicted as a result of legal challenges that question the constitutionality of such laws.
