Fighting female genital mutilation

Marie-Claire Kakpotia Moraldo experienced it firsthand – the screams of other girls and the never-ending physical and psychological trauma of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). She never thought that she would campaign against it one day, but now she leads The Red Orchids, an association in the French city of Bordeaux that raises awareness about FGM.
