We drink wine every day. The optimal consumption is one glass of wine per day. Most people drink two or three glasses of wine per day.

But do you even stop and think how wine is made? What is the process of making wine?

Well, there are five basic stages of steps to making wine: harvesting, crushing and pressing, fermentation, clarification, and then aging and bottling.

The fermentation process is the most important one. That is when the yeast eats sugar and converts it into alcohol. Fermentation takes between two to three weeks.

Depending on the type of wine, fermentation can last longer or shorter. This documentary will take you through every step of the process. Now, if you like to start making wine at home, you might learn something.
