Attenborough follows various other species as they scavenge for food, evade predators, and use sunlight to protect their unhatched offspring. The filmmakers take great care to show us the many nuances between species – from warriors to solo workers – as well as the extraordinary lengths each type will go to in order to survive adversity.
Nature enthusiasts will find much to appreciate in this meticulously crafted film. The footage is truly spectacular with its close-ups and unique angles that bring us right into the heart of ant colonies.
