Animal X is an American documentary television series that has been captivating audiences around the world for over two decades. It began airing in 1997 with its first series of 13 half-hour episodes, and since then it has aired in more than 120 countries.

The show follows the Animal X team as they investigate strange animals and animal behavior. After this, the spinoff Natural Mystery Unit was born in 2004 – another co-production between Discovery and Storyteller which aired on networks around the world.

Animal X is an endlessly fascinating show that remains as captivating now as it did when it first aired in 1997, making it one of the longest running documentaries out there today.
