Afghanistan is a landlocked country in Asia. The country borders with Pakistan to east and south, Iran to the west, China to the northeast, and Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan to the north.

America started the war on terrorism in Afghanistan. The War in Afghanistan lasted from 2001 to 2014. The war continued with the Operation Freedom’s Sentinel.

As a country, Afghanistan has always been a strategic point. The Soviet Union also had interest in Afghanistan. They fought a guerrilla war against Afghanistan from 1979 to 1989.

This documentary takes a look at the timeline, history, and events happening in Afghanistan. Think of it like a Game of Chess, with Russia and America trying to control it.
