102 Minutes That Changed America is a remarkable documentary that was produced by History and premiered commercial-free on September 11, 2008 — marking the seventh anniversary of the horrific terrorist attacks. The 102-minute documentary depicts the events of September 11th in virtually real time, primarily using raw video footage taken by mostly amateur citizen journalists.
The film features an 18-minute short documentary called I-Witness to 9/11, which features interviews with nine eyewitnesses who captured the events on camera. According to this documentary, most of the archival footage used in the film was in possession of the U.S. government but released many years after the attacks occurred.
