The Second World War was a devastating conflict that altered the course of history and shaped the world as we know it today. On September 1st, 1939, Adolf Hitler’s Nazi forces invaded Poland, setting off a series of events that would ultimately lead to the greatest global war in human history.

Witness the horrors of battle through archival footage and interviews with soldiers who lived through these life-changing experiences. Follow along as Britain and France declare war on Germany while America struggles with its own decision about whether or not to enter the conflict.
