Malik said tickets would remain valid for the replacement dates. Later reports placed the seven postponed US shows between January 21 and February 3, 2025; the official Bill Graham Civic Auditorium page confirms the San Francisco date as February 3.
Why Zayn Malik postponed the US tour dates
Malik announced the postponement on October 19, 2024, after Payne’s death. He described the reason in a statement reproduced by ITV News: “Given the heartbreaking loss experienced this week, I’ve made the decision to postpone the US leg of the Stairway To The Sky Tour.”

The announcement concerned the US leg, not the entire tour. Malik said the dates would be rescheduled and that tickets would remain valid for the new dates.
When the postponed shows were rescheduled
Later reports said the seven US shows were rescheduled between January 21 and February 3, 2025, across Washington, New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco. The available reporting establishes that overall window and those cities, but not a complete, verified pairing of every city with its replacement date.

At the time of Malik’s October 19 announcement, ITV News reported that the UK dates had not been announced as postponed and that a spokesperson said they were unchanged. That was their reported status then; it does not establish the status of every later tour development.
How the tour connected to Room Under the Stairs
The Stairway to the Sky Tour was associated with Malik’s album Room Under the Stairs, as described by Official Charts. The postponement announcement itself focused on the tour schedule and ticket validity.
