The UK shows took place in September 2025. The North American dates did not go ahead: they were postponed because of visa delays and later cancelled after the visa arrived too late for the scheduled run.
What was the “Cat on the Road to Findout” tour?
Announced on May 20, 2025, the tour was billed as “An Evening of Tales, Tunes and Other Mysteries.” It was designed around Yusuf/Cat Stevens’s memoir rather than as a conventional concert. The official announcement described an in-depth conversation about the book alongside selected acoustic performances, personal illustrations and photographs, film, archival objects, live and recorded music, and candid stories. Yusuf described the memoir as a record of what he had learned and the stories along the way, while cautioning that writing a book did not make him a teacher. The presentation’s blend of conversation, personal history, and music reflected that framing.
What were the announced UK tour dates?
The UK leg was billed as seven theatre shows, beginning September 6, 2025, at Cambridge Corn Exchange and ending September 22 at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. The announcement described it as Yusuf/Cat Stevens’s first UK tour in nine years. These dates have passed.

What happened to the North American dates?
On September 29, 2025, Yusuf/Cat Stevens announced that the U.S. and Canadian run planned for October would not go ahead as scheduled. He said visa approvals had taken months, leaving too little time to arrange the production logistics.
The eventual outcome was cancellation, not a confirmed rescheduling. The Boch Center’s page for the October 6, 2025 Boston performance marks it cancelled and says refunds would be issued through the original payment method. It reproduces Yusuf/Cat Stevens’s later statement that the visa arrived after the final scheduled tour date had passed. No replacement North American dates are established by the cited notices.
