No single official ranking names the biggest tours of 2026, and no audited table compares every artist’s full-year results. What is on the public record is each tour’s announced scale: how many shows were scheduled, how many cities or regions the run covers, and whether it plays stadiums, arenas or amphitheaters. Gross and attendance figures exist for only a few tours, and they come from different periods, so they cannot be ranked against announced show counts. This guide sorts the largest 2026 tours by announced scale, labels each figure with its source and date, and explains how to compare them fairly.
The biggest 2026 tours by announced scale
The table below uses only figures from promoter and label announcements, plus one completed-tour benchmark. Every row states the metric it measures, so a 79-show run and a 33-date run are not treated as equivalent.
| Tour | Announced scope | Geographic reach | Venue format | Dates as announced | Source and date |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| BTS world tour | 79 shows | 34 regions | Stadiums, 360-degree in-the-round stage | From April 9, 2026 (Goyang) into early 2027 (Australia) | Live Nation, January 13, 2026 |
| Harry Styles, Together, Together | 50 performances | Seven cities (Amsterdam, London, São Paulo, Mexico City, New York, Melbourne, Sydney) | Residency format, including 30 shows at Madison Square Garden | May through December 2026 | Live Nation, January 22, 2026 |
| Bruno Mars, The Romantic Tour | Nearly 40 shows | North America, Europe and the UK | Stadiums | Not stated in the announcement | Live Nation, January 8, 2026 |
| Usher and Chris Brown, The R&B Tour | 33 dates | North America | Stadiums, co-headlining | June 26 through December 11, 2026 | Live Nation, April 14, 2026 |
| Ed Sheeran, LOOP Tour | Show count not stated | North America (North American stadium leg) | Stadiums | June 13, 2026 (Glendale) through November 7, 2026 (Tampa) | Atlantic Records announcement |
| Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire | 26 cities | North America | Multi-city co-headline run | June 24 through August 14, 2026 | Live Nation announcement |
| Dave Matthews Band | Show count not stated | United States | Amphitheaters, including a Labor Day weekend residency at the Gorge Amphitheatre (September 4–6) | Spring and summer 2026 | Live Nation, January 27, 2026 |
| The Weeknd, After Hours ‘Til Dawn Tour (completed) | 153 dates; about 7.55 million tickets; $1.004 billion gross | Multi-year, international | Not stated | Data from March 4, 2022 through November 14, 2025; final date scheduled for September 6, 2026 in Lisbon | Associated Press, November 20, 2025, citing Live Nation |
The tours, one by one
BTS world tour (2026–2027)
Live Nation’s January 13, 2026 announcement describes 79 shows across 34 regions. The run opens in Goyang on April 9, 2026, includes multi-night stadium stops in North America, Europe and the UK, moves to Latin America and Asia in fall 2026, and adds Australian dates in early 2027. The announcement calls the production’s stage design a first for a K-pop stadium tour: “The tour features a 360-degree, in-the-round stage design – a first for a K-pop stadium tour.” It also says ticket and venue details for some later regional dates would be released later, so readers should check current listings for those cities.
Harry Styles, Together, Together
This is the clearest example of a residency format. Live Nation’s January 22, 2026 announcement lists 50 performances from May through December across seven cities. The highlights are 30 New York shows at Madison Square Garden and a six-night run at Wembley Stadium. New York is his only U.S. city on the 2026 itinerary. Guest performers vary by date and include Robyn, Shania Twain, Fcukers, Jorja Smith, Jamie xx, Fousheé and Skye Newman.

Stops include Los Angeles, Toronto and East Rutherford. The show uses a new set design and mixes songs from the album Play with familiar material. The announcement says presale registration is free but does not guarantee tickets. No total show count appears in the source, so this tour cannot be placed in a numerical ranking against the others.

Live Nation announced a co-headlined North American run of 26 cities from June 24 through August 14, 2026. Cities named include Saint Paul, Toronto, New York, Los Angeles and Austin. Dave Matthews Band
Live Nation’s January 27, 2026 announcement lists U.S. spring and summer dates, including multi-night stands at several amphitheaters and a Labor Day weekend residency at the Gorge Amphitheatre on September 4–6. The run is the third year of the band’s “On The Road To Zero Waste Tour” effort. According to the announcement, the program previously reached a milestone of more than 90% of fan-generated waste at Live Nation venues being reused, composted, recycled or donated. The band also committed to plant one million additional trees in 2026, bringing its stated total to seven million. These are figures and commitments reported in the promoter’s announcement, not results from an independent audit.
The Weeknd, After Hours ‘Til Dawn Tour (completed)
This is the only tour in the list with a reported gross and ticket total. The Associated Press reported on November 20, 2025, citing Live Nation, that the tour had grossed $1.004 billion and sold approximately 7.55 million tickets across 153 dates. Live Nation’s underlying data covered March 4, 2022 through November 14, 2025, and the final date was scheduled for September 6, 2026 in Lisbon. Because the tour has now concluded, it is best read as a completed benchmark for scale and revenue rather than a show to attend.

Live Nation’s second-quarter 2026 results release, dated July 30, 2026, reports more than 143 million tickets sold through mid-July, over 14 million ahead of the prior-year pace, with ticket sales growing in the mid-teens across stadiums, arenas and amphitheaters. Nearly 49 million fans attended Live Nation shows during the second quarter of 2026. These are company-wide figures covering all Live Nation shows, not totals for the tours above. - Announced show count: the number of dates the promoter scheduled. It is a measure of planned scale, not of how many seats were sold.
- Geographic reach: the number of cities, countries or regions. A 34-region run and a single-country run cover very different ground.
- Venue format: stadiums, arenas, amphitheaters or residencies. A 30-show residency at one venue and a 33-stadium run draw on different audiences and logistics.
- Routing: whether the artist returns to one city repeatedly (residency) or travels between many cities (touring).
- Reported gross or attendance: only comparable when both figures cover the same period and source. Of the tours above, only The Weeknd’s has a published gross and ticket total.
Checking dates and tickets
- Start with the artist’s official website or verified social accounts, then cross-check the listing on the venue’s own site.
- Confirm the on-sale date, presale rules and any registration requirement for your city. Presale registration can be free and still not guarantee a ticket.
- Recheck dates close to your travel plans. Schedules, venues and inventory can change after an announcement, and some later regional dates are announced separately.
- For tours that run into 2027, such as BTS, check the regional schedule for your market rather than relying on the headline show count.
Some of the dates above are already past, and others are still on sale or scheduled through the end of 2026. Every figure in this guide should be read with the source and date printed beside it.
