Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Young Thug’s UY SCUTI arrived on September 26, 2025, as his fourth solo album and a release shaped by the legal ordeal and fallout of recent years. Its most personal songs have drawn praise, but critics disagree about the album’s cohesion and its high-profile presentation. The track count also depends on which edition you mean.
1. It marked a return after incarceration, not a simple comeback
300 Entertainment announced UY SCUTI as Young Thug’s fourth solo album and released it on September 26, 2025. The label framed it as part of a renewed run of releases, following “Money on Money,” his collaboration with Future. Apple Music’s album description presents the events of recent years as weighing heavily on the record; that framing makes the album’s return inseparable from the circumstances around it, rather than a straightforward victory-lap narrative.

2. Legal turmoil becomes personal subject matter
AllMusic says the album opens with courtroom audio and identifies legal battles, betrayal, and loyalty as recurring themes. Apple Music’s album copy points to “Catch Me I’m Falling” and “Miss My Dogs” as songs addressing trial trauma, friendship, and loyalty. Those are interpretations from the platform and review, not a substitute for hearing how the songs handle those subjects.
#1 Best Overall
The effect is to bring the public trial and its consequences into the album’s emotional frame. In this reading, the legal references matter less as a chronology of events than as a backdrop for questions of trust, loss, and who remains close.
3. Vulnerability is a strength to some critics, while cohesion remains contested
AllMusic singles out the rawness of “Sad Spider” and “Miss My Dogs,” while also arguing that weaker inclusions and disconnected ideas clutter the album. Pitchfork takes a markedly harsher view, reading the rollout and presentation as attention-seeking. These reviews disagree about what the album’s emotional exposure and public-facing spectacle add up to; they do not establish a single critical consensus.

The split is also about how the album works as an album. A listener drawn to its vulnerable songs may find them compelling even if the transitions and weaker tracks feel uneven. A listener who sees the presentation as overwhelming the music may reach the opposite verdict. The useful distinction is between praise for particular songs and judgments about the record’s overall shape.
4. “UY SCUTI” has multiple track lists, so name the edition
There is no single track count that applies to every listing. The label’s September 2025 announcement gives a 20-track sequence, including “Sad Slime” and excluding “Spider or Jeffery.” Apple Music lists a 21-song version with “Sad Spider” and “Spider or Jeffery” featuring Quavo, as well as a 28-song Supernova Edition dated October 2, 2025. The official store’s Archive Edition page lists “Fighting Depression” as a bonus track.

|---|---|---|
| Original announcement | 20 tracks; includes “Sad Slime” and does not list “Spider or Jeffery” | 300 Entertainment |

For a track-by-track discussion, state which listing you are using. The different counts and the “Sad Slime”/“Sad Spider” naming difference can otherwise make comparisons look like errors when they reflect different editions or catalog entries.

UY SCUTI reached No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart dated October 11, 2025, according to Billboard’s chart page. Separately, 300 Entertainment reported that “Money on Money” reached the top 10 of Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and the top 40 of the Hot 100. The label also said the single’s video had more than 16 million views when its release announcement was published; that is a time-specific figure, not a current view count. Physical vinyl variants have been described in contemporary coverage, but the available information here does not establish current stock or the exact track list of any Amazon edition. The official-store Archive Edition page is for a digital WAV product, not vinyl, and was marked sold out when accessed. Collectors should check the retailer’s current listing, format, edition name, and track sequence before ordering rather than assume that a vinyl edition matches a streaming version.
